Varsity

A beautiful experience. We had amazing food, the staff was kind and helpful, the music was at the right volume and just generally a really really nice atmosphere. The place is small but for us that was a plus (it can't get crowded/loud). Every dish was amazing. When I eat outside I seek creativity and good taste and Varsity managed to deliver just that. Good presentation, great ingredients and perfect timing. Most definitely will try again at some point in the future.

Wonderful people! Tasty food! My husband and I came here for Sunday roast with our infant daughter. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. Our daughter napped on the bench seat next to me for 30+ minutes while we ate. When she woke up, they prepared a changing area for us in an upstairs room. They were very accommodating and friendly. Plus, the food was good. 😊

My wife and I ate at Varsity today, meeting my friend and his wife who we had not seen in 30yrs. Of Trini lineage, both husbands opted for the chicken breast dish captioned. For those of you familiar with the twin island republic just off the coast of Venezuela, you are probably aware of the country's reported high per capita consumption of KFC chicken. An indicator of the choice of both husbands and note neither asked for black pepper, pepper sauce, salt or ketchup. The colonel has to eat at Varsity. The chicken breast was well seasoned, cooked through evenly, with caramelized skin, and juices flowing. It was without doubt the very best chicken breast I have eaten to date since my UK life began again. You are Cambridge for whatever the reason, spare 2hrs have the chicken breast at Varsity, and remember to tell Eric I sent you.
