We didn’t realise Chapter 21 was open for dinner until walking past their store and getting a takeaway menu yesterday. They offer delicious and generous takeaway dinner servings. We had the crispy pork cashew dish and the chicken green curry with coconut rice. Was fresh and the best takeaway dinner we have had in quite some time. We will definitely be ordering from here regularly moving forward. A hidden gem.

Really cosy and cute place in a great accessible location. I love how they turned ordinary brunch into abit of an asian fusion! Soft shell crab burger was great and the traditional breakfast was refreshing! A great serving and even with freshly squeezed orange juice. Very generous with their provisions.<br/><br/>Staff were super polite and friendly, will definitely be back !!

What a tasty and pleasant surprise Chapter 21 turned out to be. The non-descript frontage and decor provide a relaxed, cruisey and peaceful nook to chow down on some truly excellent food. Basic - yes but brilliant value for money. Smashed avo on two thick slices of sour dough, topped with edamame, feta and cherry tomatoes...nice work guys! Can’t wait to come back.

I really enjoyed this cafe, it’s very small, but they have a great menu, most items seemed unique and I struggled to pick what I wanted to try most. I settled on the coconut pancakes which were delicious!

What a joke! Totally unfriendly, smelly and looks absolutely dirty. I won’t recommend this place to anyone! Staffs are not friendly at all， in fact they are very rude. Not the way to run a business!

We dropped by this small cafe on Monday lunch time . <br/>We ordered the Thai green curry with rice, soft shell crab burger , tea and Thai milk tea. We love the Thai milk tea very much as it’s not only just look pretty ( oh it’s in pale pink it’s so pretty what can I say lol) but also delicious. Hobby love his curry says it’s perfect for winter . I am quite happy with the soft shell crab burger as it’s fresh and yum . <br/>The reason why we rate this place 5/5 is because the young owners ( we assume they are the owners) really put effort into the dishes and their business . They are very friendly with the customers , on top of that , they served great food with no doubt. <br/>I personally can’t have Thai food because of my sensitive stomach, however I have no problem with the their curry since its mild. <br/>The owners who work hard on what they do definitely deserved some credits. <br/><br/>

Chapter21 Cafe is situated in Camberwell, across the street from Boroondara City Council. It’s slightly away from the hustle bustle from central Camberwell;. The cafe is easily accessible by public transport and off-street car parks are available if you travel on private vehicle. We came here using online deal purchased by our friends, the deal is $22.00 for two people (1 coffee + 1 main dish) / each. Chose Chapter21 as a new breakfast venue in Camberwell. The food was great, breakfast classics with and Asian mix. Smashed Avo was enjoyable. Kids liked their pancakes as well. Is lacking atmosphere and the service, whilst friendly, was slow and a little clumsy. Coffees were good but took to long and arrived with meals. Takeaways were served ahead of our order which is frustrating.

Their coffee is nice and the food tastes delicious. I had the soft shell crab burger which came with yummy hot chips. The food is reasonable prices. However the portion for both meals we ordered tend to be a bit smaller than what you would normally get in other brunch places.

Excellent food and lovely staff. Sick of your typical brunch place with bread and eggs? Go to Chapter 21! The menu has slight Thai fusion but ticks off all your brunch needs! We had the pasta and the pandan crepe and it was soooo good! Would definitely come back again.

It was quite a cold day when I went to Chapter 21 and they left the door open so it was pretty chilly inside. I also ordered food with a friend but our meals came out a fair while apart.<br/>However, I have to say their coffee was great - they made a fantastic long black! Their Smashed Avocado was pretty good - quite nutty and interesting elements like edamame and beetroot gel. The Coconut Pancake was ok but seemed a little undercooked for my taste.

Amazed by how vegan friendly this little cafe is (and relatively affordable at that). I was tempted by the sweet dishes (especially the Pandan crepe) but instead opted for the cheesy mushrooms, which sounded more interesting. I'll start with my two gripes, which is that the dish lacked salt (I had to add some) and the serve of brioche bread was disappointingly small. But the presentation and concept was great, as was large serving of cashew cheese that brought the dish together. I never would have thought to add a scoop of mashed potatoes to a mushroom brekkie but it works really well. My soy flat white was also beautiful and perfectly hot with great flavour. Keen to give this place another go for one of the sweet breakfast options.

Chips are good, the crispy pork rice is great! A balance between fried food and healthy brown rice + veggies. The watermelon juice is also great especially if you love a heavier mint taste.

I recently found out this interesting place and now getting Uber from them quite often. So far I have tried all their savoy items and no one has disappointed me yet. The pork chop on rice would be my regular now. <br/><br/>Other than that, I think I prefer Pandan Crepe since it's not commonly found in Melbourne. My friend really love their coconut pancake (already it's really too "coconuty" - don't order if you are not a coconut fan LOL)

Decent coffee and nice friendly service was food was very average. Melbourne offers very tough competition with all its amazing brunch offerings. The prices here are reasonable but the food wasn’t particularly fresh or flavourful.

I loved everything about Chapter 21, from the friendly and accommodating staff to the array of delicious menu items to choose from! You can tell that the food is all very high quality and made with love! I especially loved the house made almond milk! Will be featuring regularly!

Great place and beautiful environment! lot of vegan options! I tried few dishes with friends for brunch, I was particularly amazed by the vegan cheesy mushrooms dish who was so so full of flavours and the cashew cheese is a really nice touch to the dish! The veggie bowl was also spot on, real refreshing and the satay sauce has a good kick! My friends loved the pandan crepe and the coconut pancakes and were really impressed by the presentation and flavours, being more a savoury person for brunch I did not try them. The service was really friendly, not lot of options for vegan in Camberwell so chapter 21 will more likely become my favourite brunch spot close to home 😍😍😍
