Ihop

Just sat inside for almost an hour, finally paid $3 for my chocolate milk and left. Our waitress took forever to get our drinks and brought them only after I had to ask. Placed our order, about 10 mins later April came back and asked said did you order potato pancakes? We replied yes and she said oh we don’t have em . So after another 10-15 mins and seeing 4 other tables having been sat tables and have their food , we left. The manager wasn’t apologetic. Passed my waitress on the way out, I think she was outside smoking maybe but was coming in from outside. The rest of the wait staff seemed attentive to their tables and the 2 girls up front were friendly. The bus boy also seemed to be pretty quick to clean up. So I guess as long as you don’t have April or have a problem and would like empathy from the manager, this is a good place….

Out of the eight orders at our table, seven were wrong when served. Diners were not brought drinks until they had finished eating. Diners that did get drinks on time were not offered refills. Two of the orders that were sent back were made right by raking the wrong item off the plate and being sent back to the table. Were still charged for the wrong items because they were more expensive than the correct item. Will not return to this location even if it is the only eating establishment open in town.

Came in with my fiancee for lunch today, and it took 30 mins just for us to get our food. I ordered an all you can eat pancake meal. I was so disappointed that I was only able to eat 1 stack just due to the service we received. Even the couple that sat behind us didn't even eat their meal and left. The waitress didn't even refill my glass til I was ready to leave. Worse serve I have ever had.

Zero stars! We have had mixed experiences with this location in the past and decided to give it another chance. Our waitress(or so we thought) was very attentive, then she came to our table when we were ready to order, about 15 minutes, and some young guy comes up and basically tells her to move on he's taking our order. It went down hill from there. He was very rude and would disappear for 15 minutes at a time. He brought half of my wife's food and we waited another 10 minutes for mine and the rest of hers, which was incomplete. When we brought it to his attention he argued and said that the menu had changed. We asked to see the menu and showed him what we had ordered and asked for the rest of our food. He snatched the menus and walked off shaking his head. I told him that he knew he was wrong and that he was being disrespectful. He started cussing and being beligerant and told me to go outside. When I spoke to the manager she defended him without any interest in hearing what we had to say. Terrible service, food, and leadership.

The waitress was rude, had an attitude, and slammed the people at my tables Money down in their face. I’ve always been sympathetic towards service people, coming from someone that has worked in service, but her behavior was unacceptable. It doesn’t matter if your stressed you don’t treat customers that way. If I could leave half a star I would. This isn’t regarding the rest of the staff nor the manager just one in particular waitress with dark hair and a bad attitude.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Hostess sat us three down and then we didn’t have anyone come to our table. A three top and a 6-7 top came in after us and got seat and greeted by their waiter. They also go drink orders taken and recieved them as well. After 25 minutes of waiting for our server to come which never happened we got up and left. I will never be back to ihop cabot.
