Believe it or not it seems to make a difference in the taste of the food when someone upbeat and enjoying there job makes the food. And if some one is short on cash or there card isn't working just give them the food and hope they come back to pay. Just gonna get thrown away if not. And keep track so you aren't just handing out free food . You use to use frequent shoppers punch cards. So make a frequent not paid for notebook behind the counter.

They were hopping busy due to a local event, but still got good service. However, they recently switched their pepper jack cheese and it is a real disappointment. It is a processed cheese food with peppers!

When I wanted more onions, one of the workers said "we are limited to 12 onions" I questioned that and he said "I don't make the rules"...the other worker said "why would you want an onion sandwich"...if your Subway is going to be this stingy, you probably should be courteous, without smart Alec remarks.

We loved sropping here. The staff were great. Very friendly. They chatted with us and made us ymy food. The restaurant was very clean, we thought they had just had a reno.

About 630pm, today (6/28/22), I was at the Subway on Harrison Avenue. An employee, an older man a bit on the skinnier side was working super slow and causing a huge backlog and people were walking out due to his lack of speed.
He got an attitude, so I called him out on his lack of speed and ability as it was not fair to his coworker. He started cussing at me and threatened me. Told me to meet him at 1230 to settle it.
He used, in front of children that were present, the "f-word" at least a handful of times. Escalating with other customers as well.

Walking in, we were the only customers in the store. The workers were clearly making sandwiches for a pick up order, but not one of the three works greeted us or acknowledged our presence. Stood in line for five plus minutes before anyone said hi and asked us for our order. I understand finishing what you're doing first but the customer service in our butte locations has massively gone down hill in recent years. Absolutely disappointing since I love subway food. Won't be coming back any time soon. Butte Subway, spend some time working on training your workers in customer service, I have never had this problem in any other locations.

After seeing the state of their kitchen one day, and having not one, but two hairs in my single sub, I have to say that I will more than likely never visit the butte locations again. And if, IF I had to I'd still pick downtown... uptown is just a nightmare in physical form.

I'm giving it 5 stars only for the quality of the food. As for the employees go, I feel they could all use a brush up on customer service skills. Yes we all know how hard this past year has been, but we are all doing our best and when at your place of work it requires you to have a smile and good attitude. Speaking as a former waitress I know how crucial this can be for your customers. Regardless of how you feel, your customer service should always be on point. I
