Da Vinci's Table

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time today and man oh man what a nice surprise! From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The GM Matt was very welcoming and friendly. He stopped by our table after we were seated to welcome us and tell us a little about the restaurant. Our server Kyle was an extremely pleasant young man and was attentive to our needs without interrupting our meal unnecessarily. He tended to our needs while allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation. The atmosphere was outstanding with very nice decor and lighting. The outdoor dining area looks awesome and we will enjoy eating out there next time. The food was delicious! Home made meatballs!! Need I say more? My wife had the flounder with lobster sauce special and it was prepared perfectly! The spaghetti meat sauce was as good as I've ever had. In short, this restaurant is the total package if you love Italian food. I highly recommend to anyone. I only wish we had found it sooner. A personal thank you to Matt and Kyle.

This place is a wonderful example of a classic little local Italian eatery. The exterior is pretty — lots of flowers and foliage (we would have eaten outside were it not for the humidity) — and the interior is cozy and inviting (and a bit eclectic). Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My boyfriend had the pesto tortellini (great homemade pesto!) and I enjoyed the mushroom manicotti. Note that while the portions might not look generous, they are extremely filling thanks to the fresh pasta. My only criticism is not so much a criticism as a wish: I wish my salad was a bit more, and I wish we’d had more than one roll per person. That did feel a bit stingy.

The food is always excellent at da Vinci's, and the decor is beautiful. We love eating there for special occasions. The last couple of times we have been, we have felt rather rushed by the wait staff. We'd barely sipped our drinks before our appetizer arrived, and the same for our food. Normally you wouldn't complain about fast service, but we were celebrating our anniversary, and wanting to linger and reminisce. Instead we felt like they needed our table. And they didn't--there were several empty tables. But we understand in the time of COVID, businesses are struggling, and they are doing much more take out business than usual. We will definitely be back, but we'll look forward to the return of the leisurely experience we've had in the past.

Rude bartender that told us we “could’ve called” when we asked if they were allowing limited bar seating while we waited on takeout. Yes, it was about 30 minutes before closing but the place was packed and it was going to be to-go for us. The food here is decent but the menu is pretty limited. Their specials are usually better than the regular selections. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with the service; seems like unless you know the folks running the bar they are more concerned with their friends/regulars and don’t really care about anyone else.
