hey're open 4 hours a day, no joke. Make that reservation and get on over here for some delicious food. It's a cute and cozy restaurant, with friendly servers and great service. I'm not sure if reservations are required, but they're highly recommended considering they're open a few hours a day. While the plates are small, the food is fantastic. I'd love to dine here again soon. Unfortunately Burbank doesn't work well for me with LA traffic. We ordered several items to share between the 2 of us. We had the Rainbow Beets Salad, Half Dozen of the Daily Oysters, Grilled Octopus, CW Fried Chicken, and the Smoked Pork Belly. Everything was delicious, but the Grilled Octopus was perfection. I wouldn't be upset if anyone ordered exactly what we did. If I had to choose a least favorite, it would be the oysters. The Oysters are very small, and even with the different sauces offered... they're hardly satisfying. Rainbow Beets and the Fried Chicken are a couple of the must order items if and when you make it to CW for dinner. The servers were fast and friendly. Plates were cleared as soon as we finished an items, and new plates were brought to the table. The downside is lack of parking on the same side of the street. The sign on the window states that parking is across the street. I'd love to bring a friend here sometime for a birthday or other special celebration.

Went back to Commonwealth again tonight and was blown away, again! Every dish, Amazing! Such a complex combination of flavors! Had the roasted cauliflower and arugula salad, hanger steak, shrimp dumplings, lamb chops, lobster bites, butterscotch pudding. Every choice was excellent. Service was great. Our main server, Taylor, was helpful and knowlegable. The other servers fill in as needed. An awesome dining experience!

We had reservations at 6:00 and wines and dined until 8:00. We enjoyed all our food.. the beet salad and the lamb were some of the favorites. We had 10 different plates all very tasty. The restaurant is small, quaint but full of energy and good vibes. Delicious food, great service and overall a wonderful evening! Visited on a Tuesday night with family (6 in total). Shared a wide variety of small plates, sometimes doubling up and sometimes splitting so all had a bite. Complemented with a couple of nice bottles of wine. Food was great, service attentive without being overbearing despite a full house. Only two sittings a night, and plan for a full two hours. Only reservation is no coffee or hot drinks!
