Overall prices are better then competitors but comparison shop first. BJ's (Berkley Johnson) brand name items are of good quality. Be sure to check expiration dates on perishables, especially dairy products & bakery. Check manufacturing date stickers on the back of electronic items as most of them are 4+ years old. Parking lot is cramped and dangerous for drivers, pedestrians & cars. Use the BJ's app for e-coupons but read the fine print & check your receipt after paying! Savings can be significant. Gas pump area is nice, never any issues since 1991.

Great staff. Angely (not positive on spelling her name) helped me renew my membership and she was efficient, personable, and knowledgeable. The Berkley Jensen diapers (BJ's brand) are superior to name brands for daily use and they are much cheaper (except we do use Huggies overnight diapers for bed time). Sometimes, I get annoyed when it is slow to get out of the store while they are verifying receipts after checkout but it hasn't been as slow lately. Gas is less expensive than other places.

My wife and I have been BJs members for years. This is our first time using the optical department. I must say that the service we received was nothing short of exceptional. The optician is very thorough and professional. Matthew was more than helpful recommending choices for us. Matt is the type of person whom every customer service person could take notes from . Very personable and caring . I was impressed!

So disappointed with BJ’s in Amherst,NY. Lately whenever they have good deal in coupons with some item, they remove that item purposely from the shelves. Then magically after coupon is expired the item is back on the shelf, so definitely not shortage in supply. Usually it is toilet paper and tissue, but now they start with other things. Definitely not worth the price of membership. They need to discontinue membership because on this way they are not allowing people to save, because you can’t use coupons. I know that I am not going to continue my membership for sure.

Absolutely Atrocious!!!! A cashier made a mistake. Got called on it at the door. Went back to correct it with the same cashier. Was issued a refund. Went back to the door. Supposedly another issue. Went back again. I guess I got 2 of 1 item but it was rung up 3x and one item was supposedly missing. Cashier says. Well that was the most expensive one out of like 5 cases of water that looked the same. Insinuating that I was trying to steal something. She's lucky I didn't go off on her and make her feel this small 🤏🏻 A first time customer After 2 hours of running around the warehouse and very close to $400 later. I'll be Canceling the membership and requesting a refund. I'll take my Buisness to Sam's Club even though it's clear across town.
