All meh… our oyster shooters and calamari came after our entres. The fish was soggy for the fish and chips. The blacken rockfish salad was very good though.

We ate at the Catalyst for the first time last night the service was wonderful. Our server was Ash, she did such a great job. We had fish tacos, fish and chips and delicious margaritas. Great place.

Stopped for the night in Brookings and the hotel clerk tipped us off to this gem! Delicious food: I had chowder in a bread bowl with shrimp and clam strips, hubs had the surf and turf with grilled scallops—everything was so good! Great service, cute patio, and a really nice vibe here.

My aunt recommended this place. We really enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were strong, and the food was delicious. We started with High Tide Mai Tais. We ordered the flashed fried calamari and shrimp cocktail for our appetizer. I ordered the surf and turf that came with a top sirloin and prawns. It came with loaded mashed potatoes and grilled vegs. The steak was grilled prefectly. Hubby ordered the fish and chips with extra prawns. We were a little disappointed with the shrimp in that we got popcorn shrimp in our shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp they referred to as prawns were just regular size shrimp.

Small seafood restaurant at the harbour in Brookings. Outside,inside and bar counter seating. Sadly no harbour views but food, service and atmosphere were all good. Worth a visit.

Food here was amazing! Steamed clams were cooked in a fabulous wine sauce. Crab cocktail was fresh, tasty and the portion was large. Oysters were huge and the best I’ve ever tasted. Fried calamari was cooked perfectly and not greasy. Service took awhile but totally understood because the waitress was by herself. Besides it gave us time to eat slowly and enjoy every minute. Will stop here every time.

This was the best food on our whole trip up the coast. The fried oysters and the clam chowder was amazing. I have been craving it ever since we went. The staff was very friendly and it was a very cute and packed place. I will be back some day, Thank you!!!

Outstanding food…one of the best meals I have had in a long time. I ordered the shrimp tacos with mango salsa and they were perfection! The house salad was large and so fresh. If I was a local, I would be getting takeout from here 2-3 times a week.
