Crosstown Diner

Visited this diner for the very first time after a funeral service on a Thursday night (around 7:30pm). We were seated right away & the server took our order pretty quickly but the wait for the food was a bit longer than we would have liked. Maybe we were just all very hungry, though. Once we got the food, it did not disappoint! The BEC with avocado comes not just on challah bread, but challah French toast & is a triple decker which I was unaware of from the description, so I took half of it home (and it was still good reheated). If you are looking for a lighter meal they have the usual diner menu as well as some very yummy, and perfect consistency, smoothies. This is a diner I will definitely go to again.

The food is good, especially the soup, Salmon, and Cheesecake. However, they're kinda expensive, so decide wisely. The Cheesecake is really good, but I'd suggest to share 1 piece of you're a couple (they're like $9-10 each). Everything has gotten more expensive now, and this is really good, but just keep it in mind.
