We were in Broken Bow for a weekend getaway. This was a cute little plane that reminded me of the neighborhood planes my grandfather used to frequent when I was a kid. Our waitress was friendly and quick. When we come back, we'll definitely eat breakfast here again.

Server was fantastic, food came out quick. Biscuits and breakfast potatoes were dry but it was a pleasant quick stop and affordable for 2 at $31.

Stopped in after a hike at Beavers Bend park. This was right off the main road in Hochatown.
Service was slow but greeted immediately and sat rather quickly for it being a Saturday late morning. Like others mentioned, it seems they’re short staffed but it’s a small mom & pop place so it wasn’t a huge bother.
We ordered 2 pancakes, a western omelette, a loaded breakfast burrito, French toast, and the 3 egg breakfast. Potatoes were delicious as well as the French toast. My daughter wasn’t feeling the look of the burrito (the outside of the tortilla was very white and didn’t look cooked) but she said it was really tasty and ate the whole thing.
My boyfriend didn’t talk - just ate! Haha! Pancakes are GIANT and soooo good! Def a place to check out while in the area.

Honestly this was the best meal we had while vacationing there for the weekend. We had to wait about 45 min for a table. But well worth it. Alot of food. Good price point. Thank you to the friendly staff !!

A very reasonably priced meal that was DELICIOUS. Wait staff was attentive. Food was good. Time to sit and order was reasonable. I’d definitely recommend!

We ordered chicken fried steak, fried pickles, hamburger steak, all the sides and homemade strawberry cake. Ranch was homemade and delicious. It was FABULOUS and everyone cleaned their plates. Very nice staff and order was perfect! We will be back !

This is a simple place along U.S. Hwy 259 where you will find simple but good home cooking. We had a ham & cheese sandwich which tasted exactly like it supposed to. Fried catfish basket (3 pieces) was really, really good. Fillets were seasoned nicely and fried perfectly - crispy on the outside, fresh, flaky and flavourful on the inside. Hush puppies and sides were all just fine. Really enjoyed this lunch at Steven's Gap and would gladly do so again if I find myself back in Hochatown.

The food here was great, and the service was excellent. It's a small, diner-like atmosphere (not fussy, but clean and not super cramped like some smaller restaurants can be). My one complaint is that they didn't advertise that paying by credit card would involve an additional fee, so we were surprised at the register when we were asked to pay extra.
We really liked the chicken fried steak on a bun, the bacon swiss chicken sandwich, the hummingbird cake, and the corn nuggets! We'll definitely be back because we have to try all of their pies!!

Food was good, I love hole in the wall food. This is close to that. The French Toast is really good would definitely recommend best I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Service I believe could have been better but wasn’t horrible, just didn’t have my service. Would eat there again

We stopped in on a Friday night. Customer service was great, the girls were friendly and attentive. We ordered the catfish basket and steak finger basket. We also ordered a slice of strawberry and Italian cake after we saw multiple people come in just for the cake & pie to take it to go. Cozy restaurant with great food!
