I personally like the fried chicken wings & fried shrimp. I saw the owner of this place and mentioned that when I ordered hot wings the cook placed the wings in the oil but didn't time them. How was I to know they were cooked? He told me that wings sink when they are not cooked and float when they're done. . . Good to know.

That food got us food Poison, I decided to stop by yesterday after my doctor appointment to take home as I didn't want to take to drive to Ogden location but this is not Mr. Submarine, I order 2 kids meal grilled cheese and I got them they are not grilled cheese they used HOTDOG BUNS and just melt the cheese on there 😡 my kids did not eat it at all then I had an order of onions rings with hot dog and my husband a pizza puff and a sub and got food Poison. The only Mr. Submarine I'm going to is Ogden Ave. Save your money! Not sure if all Mr. Submarine are the same owner or they are Franchise but this was a bad experience and still sick.

Avoid at all costs seriously. All food that was ordered was garbage and had to throw away. How can a place like this stay open and get some good reviews. Burnt crispy stale gyro meat, stale fries, over cooked nuggets and pale sandwich with brown lettuce. I wouldn't even give to the neighbor rats in alley. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!

After Elaine Benes ruined my soup shop in NYC back in the 90’s, I had to restart in Chicago…Now this place is so good that I have to close up shop here, and they aren’t even known for their soups 😥. But I have to give credit where credit is do. But if you can steal their soup recipes, I will pay you 💰 greatly!!!

Love Mr. Submarine!!! Ingredients are always fresh and delicious. We have catered multiple birthdays and Softball games for tournaments. Order is always correct and on time!! The Turano bread they use is the best and underrated. If you are only going to the “other” sub places you are missing out on a Chicago staple!!!! My go to is the King Roast beef!!
