We had no idea what this pub space would be like but we dived in spontaneously and wow what a vibe. We ended up staying for our first whole night out because the music was 👌 and the atmosphere was so friendly and chill. The staff were cool and very prompt serving and there was plenty of space to sit and drink or dance. Highly recommend for anyone else visiting Brighton for the first time and wanting to be familiar with the people and culture. This is the place to be.

I don't get to go out much these days! But i went out a few weeks ago with some friends and we ended up here and im so glad we did! No drama, just pure fun and nostalgia...theyve managed to make a venue fun and current whilst also feeling nostalgic of my youth and im so grateful for it! Nothing but fun vibes and staff! Didn't eat so didn't mark what their food was like. Really great place for a dance and a sing along

Was on holiday to Brighton. Happened upon on this bar, omg so glad I did! What a fantastic place, great music, loved the decor and really well keep beer. What made it for my husband and I was definitely the bar man, totally awesome chap named Troy, he was brilliant with recommendations and descriptions of the beers and was really funny. We only went in for 1 but stayed for 4! He was funny, made us feel really welcome even though we are older, and kept us totally entained. I wish more bars employed people like him. He really made our night.

Stumbling around Brighton at midnight , myself and 3 friends needed a decent bar to go ! So we tried east street tap! For a Monday it was a great atmosphere and lovely bar staff! The girl with the black hair and cool tattoos ( think her name was Becky?) was class ! Such a good night all in all! Terrible head in the morning

Popped in here for a couple of pints after work this afternoon and can safely say it was the most pleasant experience I’ve had in a Brighton pub in a very long time. I was greeted with nothing but smiles and joy by the fantastic bar staff - particularly Sam with whom I had some lovely chats and banter. Always nice to feel welcome in a nice establishment and to meet staff who take the utmost pride in their job. Think I’ve found a new local boozer! 10/10 (especially the music selection)
