My husband and I made a detour to the Crab Shack on our way to New York. We wanted to find a fresh Lobster roll before we left town. This place is an absolute gem! We started with the crab gumbo and the clam chowder, you could definitely tell they were homemade. The owner was very helpful with my gluten allergy too. We ordered the cold lobster roll and the hot one to try both. They were both amazing, the lobster was fresh, tender and well seasoned.
Everything was perfect, highly recommend! :)

Suprised that they charged more for broiled food than fried food, same food!? Food is good but side of vegetables was a half piece of corn on the cob!? Really not even a whole piece!? $3.00 charge if you use credit card, like lots of places now. Cash is king!!

Ordered 16 crab cakes for my party of 8 and the guy in the room next door was like "somebody say crab cakes? How many you want, I'm making em fresh". Dude gave me the nod 7 mins later and I snatched them up, threw em on the grill within 4 minutes and nailed the cook. Everyone was complimenting the cakes, no condiments needed. 5/5🫶

Nice, decent little seafood spot. They can sell you pre-prepared seafood dishes hot or cold. I had the New England clam chowder and lobster roll. Pretty good. I can recommend.

Nice little seafood place for fresh fish or take out meals. Its expensive. Family of five was around $240 for take out and the second time was around $100 for 2lbs of fish and a doz shrimp.
It is the best place for fresh seafood in brigantine.

With limited restaurant
choices at Brigantine, we’ve been opting on buying fresh fish and eating in on some nights. Fresh fish of the day does not disappoint, great crab cakes too - no fillers, love the fish gumbo soup. It is pricey but great quality and worth it.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. This has to be the best seafood takeout place I have EvER been to… great food and fair prices. The Captain’s Seafood Platter was amazing!! The lobster roll was huge! The shrimp are jumbo! What a great place.

Not much of a seafood person but I brought my friends from out of state and they raved about both the hot and cold lobster rolls here. I got a chance to try their bbq pulled pork and it was very good. The owner was also very friendly.

Drove down for my birthday and mother's day. Spent time on beach and went to the always awesome lobster roll. I had cold, wife had hot.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s as good as it’s always been. My routine when coming to Brigantine includes stopping here to grab lunch so I can bring it onto the beach.
The hot lobster rolls are so consistently good and I haven’t had better anywhere else. They are super meaty and flavorful and come with a side of fries and coleslaw—for the ~$26 price tag, I’d say I get my money’s worth. The service is top notch. 0 complaints, all praises
