First Watch

I have been to the First Watch near Bridgeville a few times and it is always very good. The service is pretty good considering the staffing shortage everyone is having - our server today was slow to get to our table but once arrived service was spot on. The food is fresh and delicious. Definitely a go to place for a fresh, fast, and nutritious breakfast/lunch. Always recommended!

Hope you don’t want an iced coffee with lite ice from First Watch in Bridgeville because it will come out half full looking like this! Don’t bother asking them to fill it up either bc then they will “just add more ice” “this is how it comes when you ask for light ice” Not to mention this was a take out order I placed at noon and didn’t receive until 1:35. They were “too busy” to receive ASAP orders online so I had to schedule for 1pm. The pandemic related employment shortage is tough so I get it but when I showed up at 1:00 they were seating people immediately and I had to wait an extra 35 min because they needed to make a bread sub to my sandwich. Nice. Shorted on coffee and got to waste half of my lunch hour sitting around waiting for a disappointing order. I’ll just go to Robinson next time smh

June 2021 update: They were closed for a while during COVID, but now are back in business. Everything I liked about them is still there. In this visit, we stopped in for lunch. Tables were spread further apart than on earlier visits, and the staff wore masks, but except for that, everything else seemed the same. We ordered the Turkey Burger with a side of the Basil Soup on their Whole Wheat bread. Except for the funny look it has of thick square bread slices with a round burger patty, it worked great. We also got the seasonal special of the Elote Spicy Mexican Corn Hash - which was also great. Nice to see them back in operation and not as crowded as they were before. We were seated as soon as we showed up - which was at noon on a Saturday! Upgraded the review to five stars!! 2017 - I've liked this chain since i encountered it in Washington several years ago. This location recently opened and it works great. Good food good service and a decent atmosphere.
