Abaseen

First time visiting this place following a huge recommendation from family. Took the chance whilst seeing family in bradford. Parking can be an issue as garages opposite the road but also a busy route for residents in the area. Speaking to the owner who said they use only beef meat for their kebabs and with the ingredients its kept simple. 2/3 hours later back in brum, kebabs were reheated and tasted fresh, very good flavour from the spices used and not overly done. The red chutney goes super well with the kebabs aswell as the green mint chutney. Naan size enough to be shared with three people - if you are looking to share each of the kebabs. 3 kebabs for £9 which is par with shops in brum.

Decade ago they were the best but since then standards have dropped considerably, packed with too much flour n very little taste. Shame. UPDATE 2023 - Since new management took charge over past few months, the girlington (ORIGINAL) branch has been by far the best, back to their old glory days. Listened to customer feedback and reduced the flour, improved the recipe as it used to be and so by far the best chapli kebabs in the country. A genuine nice front of house owner, always will look after you and has told us today that they now also make their own chilli sauce which was nice. My cousin came all the way from birmingham to taste their kebabs as has heard alot about abaseen and was treated to a kebab on the house, full respect, the best!! Iv tried various branches but the original will always be no1.

The last time I ate there, the food was mouth-watering this time, and I didn't have the same experience. I found the chapli kebab to be a little undercooked and not as tasty as before. Maybe they were using a different chef or meat, but I'm not going to say it was awful, as I was seen to professional service. It was great, just the taste was a little different. The atmosphere for me was perfect. Nice quite takeaway and fast service
