Amazing place to come eat! We came here after a visit to LegoLand with our kids aged 6 and 8, they cleared their plates - then went out into the enclosed garden and played. Wonderful staff with Albert and Catherine - super friendly and helpful! Even the customers were lovely - nice cheerful place, wonderful food and wine. Definitely recommend.

Got let down by another local restaurant with a party of 10 for a birthday. Called the Yorkshire rose and they managed to accommodate us last minute. (After 9pm by the time we arrived.) The staff couldn’t have been lovelier to us. They prepared something separately for the vegan lady in our group. Food was brilliant. Would defo recommend. The complimentary coffee for the person whose birthday it was was a lovely touch. Defo saved our evening so thank you so much to the staff and chefs :)

What an excellent friendly pub/restaurant. We came down from Cambridgeshire for my birthday and stayed in Warfield as we was going to Ascot races.The Yorkshire Rose was where we went for a drink and was made to feel like we was a local. Claude and his staff was very friendly. So the next evening (Saturday) 6 of us went back for a meal and we had a variety of different meals and we all said how well presented and delicious the food was, we couldn't fault it. If we go back to Ascot races again we will definitely visit again. 10 out of 10. Well done Claude. Tony and Tracey.

Just like to thank Claude and all his team..wot a fantastic job they did Saturday Night..they made our Ruby Wedding celebrations go with a bang..everyone enjoyed themselves..the venue food staff all amazing..you have a great team there..think your be getting a few booking from our friends and family..thanks again Claude Regards Deb & Marc Dorme

Never been before! Drive past all the time. So, booked up, asking for a quiet seat, due to a member of the party being autistic. I'll start with the negatives. The table was lovely and next to a cozy fire. There was a private function in the bar area and the staff shut the adjoining doors to keep the loud party noise out. Then the restaurant filled up with party goers, and to enable them to be seated, whilst we were eating, they moved our table and chairs to make more room. The manager was charming, but kept touching my wife's back and shoulder when he spoke to her. Thankfully she isn't the autistic one. I do hope he reads this. Autistic people generally find contact by strangers very upsetting. Please don't touch people you don't know. He was very kind and said he would buy us a drink next time we came. One of the waitresses was wearing dirty black jodhpurs and looked like she had just come in from a field. She was super nice and efficient though, but let down the professional atmosphere by her appearance. The positives are the food. Wow. Out of this world. They have a brilliant chef, clearly. We will go back, it wasn't awful, and I hope my comments come across as constructive and not rude in any way Maybe we will come on a week night in future...! The positives are the staff were lovely

Overall extremely good. We went there for my 72nd birthday. Great staff who were very friendly, excellent food. The owner/ manager, Claude, is a very nice guy. When my wife said it was my birthday and we couldn't have coffee as they had run out Claude offered to pay for Jude's tea and told the waiter to give me a double Remy Martin on the house. They even used the proper protocol for Remy, and served it with no ice in a warmed glass! Result! 5*

Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of the food but were were lucky to visit The Yorkshire Rose on a beautiful sunny Sunday for lunch. They have a lovely, cosy garden with tables a good distance away from one another- most likely with safety in mind but we appreciated it for personal space too. We shared a prawn cocktail which was perfect, as was our margarita pizza and salad. They kindly packaged the pizza we couldn’t manage to take home. Service was a little bit slow at times but the food was delicious and the staff were warm and accommodating. One or two more veggie options would be great and perhaps a little bit of soft background music in the garden- especially around midday when the first tables arrive as it would soften the atmosphere. Thank you! We will definitely revisit soon.
