Reef Encounter

I booked a table for myself, as was recommended, and Paul, the assistant manager, could not have been more helpful. All the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. I had salt and pepper squid to start and can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever eaten. It was so good I popped back in this afternoon on my way back from Bournemouth just to have some more! And it was still as good. Last night for main course I had the fish (haddock) and chips with mushy peas. Also excellent. After dinner I sat outside alone and was then invited to join another table of people which was lovely. I loved everything about this place. If you're not sure whether to go or not, do it!

We visited James and White in Boscombe last night and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We went for the steak night deal which was tremendous value and the steaks we ate were simply delicious! It was so cool to be able to cook the steak to your liking on the lava rock. The service was excellent as well - really top notch. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely meal here Saturday lunchtime sat outside watching the world go by. The staff were attentive, polite and did a brilliant job. I ordered ribs and my wife ordered the sticky steak salad. It was all delicious although I think the salad was so much better and I had food envy! Other customers had the skewers which looked fab. The ambience and music are very chilled and I felt so relaxed and happy spending a couple of hours on a lovely warm sunny October lunchtime! The Sierra Nevada beer helped I'm sure!! This is exactly what I needed after a stressful week! Thank you so much!

Decided to go here after driving past and seeing how nice it looked in the evening. Sat outside under the heaters. Great menu, with lots of unusual options. I had the katsu chicken, which was very tasty. A nice range of cocktails and puddings were available too. Friendly service with a smile and a good atmosphere. We weren't hurried either. Altogether a very good evening.
