Hungry Oven

Absolutely beautiful Italian food in Bournemouth. The food was mind blowing couldn't believe how irresistible the food is. They have great vegetarian varieties. The pasta that we ordered were made to perfection. The only thing that I would say was that it was lacking in salt other than that if was just perfect. We ordered dessert as well which was literally the best dessert I've ever had in my life! The caramel melted on the hot pizza dough, wow it's to DIE for. The mocktail was mesmerising as well! Definitely recommend this place. I didn't order pizza as the dough for the pizza is extremely thick which isn't to mine and my partners taste. The staff were very friendly and made sure that we enjoyed our meal. I'm definitely coming back whenever I take a visit to Bournemouth !

I visited twice while I was in Bournemouth, the lure of the huge pizza and I mean HUGE, lured myself and my friend back here for a second time. We were in the area for an Ultra marathon and thought this would be the ideal place to come back to restock on Calories after a big run. The interior of the hungry oven looks great, open brickwork with nice details added to the walls, the kitchen is open fronted too so you can see food being cooked while waiting. We ordered the whole pizza (meant for 6) with everything on it, the guy taking our order was a little baffled by it and explained it was meant for 6 and that it was huge, we were hungry though and still ordered it (with a side of fries and cheesey croquettes). The pizza tasted amazing, deep pan base (about 2-3 inches thick) and was full of incredible flavours, we ate 4 out of the 6 slices and were able to take the left over slices with us. The fries were good fries but the croquettes were a little bland, they needed some stronger cheese and extra seasoning, the sauce they came with was good. I'd definitely recommend a visit to the Hungry Oven, give the pizza a go, you can order a single slice which is plenty for a normal meal. Friendly service, reasonable prices and good food.

Service was prompt and efficient, and although the staff member was new, the boss kept one eye on him and was there to assist if needed without making a fuss. The meals were very large. One slice of the Pizza was enough to feed two, and I didn't need any sides. Two for one cocktails was a bonus and I had a very tasty Pina Colada. Recommend the starter sharing plate, it said for two and we split it 5 ways.

What a brilliant place to eat in Bournemouth! Stopped here for breakfast. The staff were excellent very attentive and provided service above and beyond what one would normally expect. Food was brilliant and excellent coffee too. It's worth coming in here purely for the quirkiness of the establishment. Tables on ceilings and probably the most interesting toilets I have ever seen in a restaurant...!

Awesome restaurant near the town centre. Every time I've gone in I've always encountered a smile and great service from the employees there, not to mention the food is delicious and reasonably priced for what you get, especially in Bournemouth. The menu has reasonable variety to it; not too much to lower the quality of the dishes but not too few to lack for those that are quite picky. These guys also do huge deep-pan pizzas, that are meant to feed 6 people! I recommend the Hungry Oven pizza slice (pictured, and yes, that's one slice) and the house mac n' cheese, plus the homemade lemonade to complement them.

Great Italian restaurant with a full vegan menu! The owner was very friendly and accommodating with 7 of us in for dinner. The Vegan menu was great and had starters, mains and dessert! Atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Would highly recommend you stop by. The pizza slice was enormous and took some home for later.
