Fat Fish

I am not the person to review a restaurant that serves, primarily sushi. Finding well prepared dinners in Bountiful is not easy, so I was very impressed with the seasonal theme of the restaurant, we were seated quickly without a reservation. The drunken noodles are amazing, and the roll my girlfriend ordered was very fresh and well made.

We have been there a few times and we keep coming back, because of the service and the atmosphere. The place isn't fancy, but it's a great place to sit and talk while eating. I love their tea. It comes in a traditional teapot and with the leaves. Ask for the chef's special, the waiters know each one of them and they don't disappoint. I like to order the volcano, because it's a show. It actually comes a plate of food with fire around it.

I’m going to start out by saying I’m not huge into sushi. I wasn’t able to find anything I liked but this restaurant is very popular and I believe if you like sushi it’s a great place to eat. Their Vegas roll was pretty good. Eel sauce and spicy mayo were great additions. They also offer Bento boxes which are more up my alley. Overall an enjoyable experience and good place to eat with friends. Server was great. Very kind and helpful. Pork dumplings were fantastic

Yummy options and lots of variety! We got 2 bento boxes (1 with teriyaki chicken and 1 with Korean beef) and 1 pho bowl (number 2 on the pho menu). The food was so flavorful and everything tasted amazing! My only complaint would be that the beef was a bit too fatty for my personal taste but it was still good.

Was looking to try out a new Pho place on the way home from a recent trip and came upon Fat Fish. Glad we did... The bowl of Pho was really good. The broth had a very good beef flavor and was very filling with plenty of beef and typical Pho addons. The noodles were a bit on softer side maybe a bit overcooked but a deal breaker, it happens with the delectate pho noodles. Also ordered some sushi takeout for later which I gave to the rest of the family who's reaction was... 'It was okay'. The place is worth a checking out

I'll preface this by saying I am not a fish eater, so I was a little nervous about going to a sushi restaurant. Turns out there were plenty of options to choose from that met my needs. And EVERYTHING was good. My husband really enjoyed his sushi roll, and I ordered a Korean short rib bento that was DELICIOUS. My husband wanted something light, and I wanted something on the healthier but more filling size. This was perfect to meet both of our needs. I was worried the portion size would be too small but I was so full and didn't even finish my food. The bento box does come with 2 California rolls which I didn't eat. We also ordered veggie tempura which was delicious. If you want an excellent alcoholic beverage, the Fly Beyond Thai was delicious. If you enjoy White Russian drinks, you'll enjoy this a lot. Our waitress was attentive, offered best seller suggestions for us both, and answered other questions we had as it was our first time here. It was clean, and the ambiance was nice - feeling upscale but accessible! Price was reasonable for the quality and portion of food. Getting cocktails will make it cost way more though as they average $8 to $10 per drink. We both really enjoyed the experience and we will definitely go back soon!

This is perhaps one of the best tasting sushi places I have ever eaten. I have been to sushi joints all over the country and none of them have impressed me nearly as much as this restaurant in Bountiful. We ordered 4 different rolls along with some Unagi nigiri and was highly impressed with every single bite. This is an extremely upbeat and very clean establishment. The staff was all smiles and very helpful. They offer booth seating and you can even bring in large parties. I would LOVE to come back and eat here again. Simply fantastic!
