Was told this was a place to get 'good' bread. I asked for their most dense loaf of bread. The guy at the counter wouldn't know. So I settled with a bread that had a dark solid crust and a dark crusted baguette. Unfortunately they both were below average. Consistency on the bread was just fluffy and it had no taste to it. As another reviewer already stated the baguette has too thin of a crust which isn't crunchy at all. I am greatly disappointed by their selection. This is all-American bread in different shapes but has nothing to do with the European breads they're named after. If you're a European don't bother to get bread there.

It’s kind of like Panera Bread but more bare bones and expensive. Also a bit cooler looking and less commercial. The design is not very straight forward for a first time customer because things aren’t always clearly labeled, and the system isn’t so straight forward so you just have to kind of figure it out as you go. The staff can be a bit stand off ish but also really nice.

We bought a baguette, a pain au levain and eclairs. How can I say this nicely? It was better than what you could get at the grocery store (maybe) but would not be sold in France. Eclairs were not fluffy or tasty. I have no way of knowing if they were made that day, but they didn't taste like it. The baguette texture was just wrong. Crust was way too thin and the texture inside was reminiscent of sponge. The pain au levain seemed like it was made from exactly the same dough as the baguette. Disappointing, even though we had modest expectations going in. If you've never had real bread before, it might ok. Those looking for a European bread should go elsewhere.

I generally come here for coffee in the mornings before the pandemic. After the pandemic the workers changed and now you get terrible service. I asked for a puff over and the lady rudely asks “what” and I repeat myself and she’s acts like I can’t speak English well and she can’t understand me. Like wow, way to be freaking rude. You can say “oh, do you mean ____” not just scream “what” and say you don’t understand me.

Went in yesterday with a gift certificate. Picked up two ready made sandwiches because we were short on time. Stood in the cash register line for several minutes before being told that the certificate had to be "activated" at a register in the back of the store. This process took 20 more minutes. The organization of this business is just beyond pitiful.
