Flower Child

Lots of healthy options and the salad I had was amazing. Very fresh, chopped within an inch of its life and a great unique mix of flavors. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. There was a really long line when I came in (2:00 on a Saturday) so I actually came back at 2:30 and the line wasn’t as bad although it was still busy.

The scenery, the environment, the food, the service all 10/10! Did not expect to be blown away by the food. I personally ordered the Glow Bowl with Shrimp and my life was genuinely changed. They are extremely flexible with the menu and the food leaves you satisfied. I did not feel bloated or heavy; I felt incredible. The flavor is amazing and I love the decoration.

This is the first time I’ve been to a flower child, normally I see a high quality quick food place like this and pass because “I can make better food at home cheaper/faster”. Not true here. Food came quickly but cooked perfectly and actually a good portion size. I’m hooked, the whole menu looks incredible and the atmosphere to dine in is welcoming and a nice place to hang out and dine for a while. They are doing everything right.

Ordered a salad, a grain bowl and a gluten free mac and cheese. We forgot to put on our masks upon entering and were abruptly asked to put them on…which I have no problem with, however the tone and manner in which she did it was rude. I found that emphasis interesting, considering the food arrives to the table with our servers fingers on the inside the rim of the bowl (no gloves) and she literally flipped a piece of lettuce back into my salad. Additionally two pieces of my avocado were stuck on the outside of the bowls... One piece was on the outside of the salad bowl and one was on the outside of the grain dish. Then the mac and cheese pasta was shredded (overcooked) and had evidence of handling the dish with fingers inside the bowl or perhaps the dish was not thoroughly washed. The table was sticky. Will not be going back.

Fresh, great variety and delicious. Even the takeout is well presented and is our new favorite go to when we want delivery or take out. We brought friends from out of town, one of whom is a chef, and they were very impressed with the freshness and remarked how delicious it was. My favorite is the Mother Earth bowl with salmon. They cook to order and the salmon was perfectly medium rare, just how I asked. The vibe in the restaurant is not pretentious, it’s relaxed and comfortable. Love the outdoor dining space, it feels inviting and is decorated nicely with lights (you forget you’re next to a parking lot). We love that they allow dogs on the patio. They even happily made a piece of unseasoned salmon for our dog when we ordered. Very friendly. Love this place.

This spot has a good variety of delicious, healthy and nicely-plated vegetarian & vegan options to choose from, and you can order meat as a protein if desired which is nice. I highly suggest the bowls and the Thai wrap. They also have kombucha on tap for a decent price! You could easily eat here without breaking the bank. The staff were friendly and upbeat and ready to assist the moment you needed it. There is outdoor seating which was perfect for the weather we were having, and the front of the restaurant faces the beautiful mountains near Boulder. I would definitely eat here again!
