Porkys Bebside

Visited on a Saturday lunch time and couldn't fault it. We were seated quickly, service was friendly and efficient throughout (with some nice extra touches like serving our desert to make it easier to share between three of us). Brisket and calzone were fantastic and the Porky's Sundae was also great. Daughter enjoyed her hot dog. Bill came just under £50 which included 2 mains, 1 extra side, soft drinks, 1 kids meal and dessert and I'd say it was well worth it. Plenty of parking as well, so very handy. We really like the Porky's in North Shields as well, but we'll definitely be back to this one.

Visited today for lunch and my husbands birthday. Haven't been for a good couple of years, Covid etc. But wow! What we've been missing. The food and service was impeccable. Our group of 4 all had burgers. You can 100% taste the difference when the meat and produce is freshly sourced. The service was great, friendly and attentive. The Pig Out menu is a brilliant option. So much to choose from. Highly recommend and we will be back, soon!!!!!!

Just came out here for a dinner on the pig out deal - absolutely amazing value for money! And I must mention and say a huge thanks to Emeri, my partner has an allergy and forgot to mention this when ordering however Emeri made sure everything was all sorted and ensured the meal was remade without any contamination whilst being extremely reassuring. Outstanding customer service here and the food is delicious. Will definitely be returning. Couldn’t recommend more!

I don’t normally feel the need to leave reviews but this place is amazing. Unbelievable value - 3 meals, sides and drinks for £30 (midweek special). So fresh and tasty, we have paid more than double numerous times in the past for substandard offerings elsewhere in the Midlands back at home. When we are back up North again we will be back 👍

I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately there was an issue with the lights - the host did inform us of this on arrival and we agreed to stay in low light, but unfortunately they kept switching off and on entirely - the host was trying his best and offered us a lamp, but it was very bright. Also we wanted 2 tomahawk steaks but disaster, they only had 1 :) got a lovely cowboy instead though. Food was absolutely delicious, except for the mac and cheese, that tasted a bit cheap- also learned if we wanted to tip when paying with card, it would not go to our lovely server, but instead the owner...and that's something we did not like and therefore did not tip. Would visit again if they fix their lighting issue, stock and their fairness to the servers Steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious, and our cheesy garlic bread was absolutely divine too
