Pizzarama

Excellent cheese. The other toppings are pretty great, too (except for the sausage - they'd be better to serve lamb rather than what they try to pass as sausage) They pizza dough is complementary to the rest of the ingredients - works fairly well, all in all presented balance and taste is most generous. The short cook has got a lot of trash talking in the background - this is my guess as why take out only. But, I don't mind the guy since he is fairly interesting & likeable as person to get along with.

We took a trip to Bisbee in October of 2021 on Fall break. We were looking up places to eat and this little gem popped up. It had good reviews, so we said what the heck, let's try it. We pulled up and it looked like a complete dive from the outside. Don't judge a book by it's cover, right? We went in anyway. It was almost like stepping back in time, like nothing had changed from the day they opened in the 80's, maybe not even the food. Which must say something about how good it is. They have been in business since the 80's! The 5 of us all wanted something different, so we all ordered our own small pizza and my guy also ordered a gyro. Let me tell you, from that day forward, I have dreamed about going back to Bisbee just to eat at Pizzarama again! It was just that good! My guy said his gyro was the best he'd ever had. We had a nice little chat with the owner and his son. They are very nice people and I hope to go back!

Rant for Pizzarama in Bisbee. Today for lunch had a small pepperoni, sausage and black olive pizza. The sausage was just plain weird. It didn't even taste like sausage and it had way too much fennel in it. The black olives tasted old and overall the pizza just wasn't up to Gus's standards. Come on Gus, you've opened far too many pizza places to serve an unappetizing pizza like this. First two visits won us over and now this one will have us taking some time off from Pizazzarama in Bisbee.
