The Green Man

it took an hour for all our food to be delivered. there were only 1 person on Bar & 1 person serving tables. Not Very Good. Also. the steak on our Mixed grills is sometimes Very tough & we are not very pleased with it. When i asked if we can exchange the steak for a piece of chicken, we were told they would do this if we upgraded to the 8oz steak then this would cost us all a further £4.50 each just to have a piece of chicken instead of the uneatable tough steak? we are all thinking of finding another venue for our meeting & family outings. we understand the rise in cost & the meals becoming smaller, But we will not be used in this way we spend quite a lot with amber inns. But maybe not for longer

When you want to know if a space is good you have to. Visit at 2 different times. Once on a weekend and another on a weekday. Although I came with friends for a Christmas hang out it turned out to be decent that day. Staff were lovely and a fair few people there in attendance apart from the 10 or so of me and my friends. It's a good space of the community in Harborne. Feels like a wetherspoons.

We were a bit uncertain as to what to expect when booking for the festive lunch at the Green Man however I have to say the chef and the team there did a cracking job. Everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot. Our party of 6 all commented on the quality of the food, service and value. Well done to the manager and her staff. It’s a busy pub with an even mix of drinkers and people eating around the pub but they managed it really superbly.
