Stefano's Restaurant

We enjoyed our dinner here. The atmosphere of the dining area is really nice. The wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The hostess was very sweet. Our appetizer was Bruschetta Crostini. The waitress also brought toasted bread and dipping sauce. The appetizer was very good except the flavor of garlic was a bit over powering. I really enjoyed my mixed drink which was a Lazy Lemonade. My husband ordered a regular Stromboli and I ordered the Shrimp Riviera appetizer for my meal. Both were very tasty, though the edges were a bit well done on his Stromboli. The waitress mentioned it before she placed it on the table but my husband was ok with it.

Stefano's has always been a warm and inviting neighborhood restaurant. We've had many a great meal there. But thinking about my recent experience with Stefano's, the best advice I can give is to 'steer clear', and find another one of Bethlehem's Italian restaurants where you will receive better value and service, and probably better Italian food. My most recent experience with Stefano's was take-out. While my order was ready on time, the preparation and packaging was sloppy. The dishes and bread were haphazardly thrown into the bags, and I was handed the bags sideways, which then leaked grease on my car seat. When I got home, I found that the order was incorrect (and did not match the receipt stapled to the bag!). I called the restaurant, but they made no effort to send someone with the correct order. I had to drive back to have the order corrected, at which time I got a weak apology. That will be the last time I recommend Stefano's, or for that matter, patronize the restaurant. Follow Up: Stefano’s sent a reply to my review, asking me to contact them. I did, but to date, they haven’t responded.

Tasty desert. That's what I found the best. Cannolis oh yummy. I also enjoyed the appetizer of Eggplant. My main dish was not memorable. I know I never finished the penne pasta although it was bagged. My daughter loved everything about her meal; including the Sangria. Only pitfall is it was the highest price I ever paid for Italian Cuisine. It left a dent on my Visa card.

Hours in person and on google state they are open at 4PM. I arrived at 4PM, doors were locked, chairs up & lights off although there was a car outside which I’m assuming was the owners. I called the restaurant 3x with no answer. Horrible customer service, was excited to try the food as I’ve heard my friends rave about this restaurant but i won’t be giving it another chance.
