Taproot

Just moved to this small CT town called Bethel from suburban of NY, while we were in NY, we ate all over the place , a lots of great restaurants that we tried . Now we living in CT, I didn’t think we will be able to find a decent place for a good meal! but after picked this small restaurant for my birthday dinner, it was so good , the place is very clean and food is fresh and tasty, staffs are very friendly. You should have reservations if you want guarantied seats. We will definitely come back for more!!!

Fantastic! Went two weekends in a row. Only disappointment was both visits I got the pork belly, which is delicious, but my second visit the portion was much smaller. We we're also disappointed to see that the pig ear appetizer was taken off the menu, that was so good. I'll come back, but I would probably try another menu item for my meal. Loved our cocktails, hot chili oil dumplings and the tres leches dessert.

Very quant restaurant. Atmosphere was nice and inviting. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was very good and flavorful. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed the fact that the spicey food had a lot of flavor and not just heat. We tried the desert which we were told was something new they were trying. Very interesting blend of flavors and textures. We felt It was worth trying something new and interesting. It was nice to find a new place to go out to eat and Would definitely come back.

Always a great meal to be had here! Owners Jeff and Steph couldnt possibly be more accomodating to their guests, who travel from all over to dine with them. Taproot is a gem and a must try for people who love dining out. Interesting, high quality cuisine executed perfectly plus they do so much for the community, always willing to help feed people and get involved!
