Ropewalk

The food was overall good. We felt alright about our waitress, however she was only attending the area partly inside and outside by the entrance, and she checked in on us one singular time. We had a party of 10 when we went in to see what the wait time would be and when we waited 35 minutes, there were only 8 seats. She did not allow us to move a table over, which is fine, but she was rude about it. The wait for food once we sat down was not long and that was nice. There were a LOT of flies. Also, not everyone was able to get a pitcher at our table. I will say, the prices for the food was not worth it. It wasn’t bad by any means, but I wouldn’t pay $27 for it (including tip). Overall enjoyable experience but I wouldn’t need to come back.

Decided to stop in for dinner. Was seated right away on the second floor with nice views. Our server was nice, we got drinks pretty quickly. The alcoholic slushies were pretty good. As for food, My girlfriend and I shared the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were well fried and not too salty like others I've had before. When it came to my entree I was pretty disappointed however. I got the day boat scallops. The meal overall did taste good, the scallops were a good size, the sauce was pretty good. My biggest complaint was that the meal costed $36-$38 ( I can't remember which it ended in ) and it wasn't very filling. I understand the seafood in it costs more, but there was barely any of the cheapest part of the meal ( the rice ). After sharing an appetizer, I feel like a meal that price should at least be more than filling. I'm happy it tasted good but I wouldn't order it again for that price and that portion.

Family and I went in for lunch. We sat down at a table away from the door (both of the double doors were propped open on the hottest day which I don't understand). The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by all the flies flying around the dining room because the front doors were wide open. Pictured are the scallops with crab meat and risotto as well as the swordfish with asparagus and rice. Both were a little overcooked but still tasty.

Honestly I had high expectations for this place. There is one in my home state and it is usually pretty good. However this place was honestly pretty disappointing. We walked in the waitress was nice. We sat down and order some wings for appetizer. They were honestly pretty good. I got the Mac and cheese with shrimp and crab. My mom got the bruschetta chicken. Both were absolutely bland and taste less. I’m sorry to say I will not be returning this place was honestly not worth. Might I suggest the Kohrs bros next door.

Bad service! I called a few times to try to get a reservation at the Bethany Beach location and they just hung up on me!!! All it would have taken was someone to tell me it’s first come first serve. Bad customer service screams bad service all around!! I would never recommend a place where the representatives of the establishment act that way to their clientele. I expected so much more. I have been to other locations and it was pretty good… NOT THERE.

Awesome place to eat with great views!!! The Jerk Chicken was outstanding. The inside of the resturant is awesome, with lots of decorations to looks at. The open concept deck up stairs is a great place to eat and watch the sunset on the beach. Play place downstairs in the sand for the kids so something. All in all good place to eat.
