Uptown Diner

I think the price is too high for the quality you get at this hotel. We asked for rooms high up but got rooms on the 4. floor only. Design wise all is good. The restaurant resemble the sun in the decor. We had to select the kind of breakfast we wanted at check-in. The vegetarian option was a ridiculous plate with very few cut veggies, fruits, and 4 half walnuts! I need a substantial meal. After 20 minutes we were offered to order more food! A strange experience! But also our first hotel breakfast under the corona pandemic in Germany. Hand sanitizer all over and masks requires in all public areas. Staff spoke limited English. Bicycles were stored safely in the underground parking garage.

Comfortable, clean rooms with a great view over the seafront. Well situated, with a number of attractions within walking distance too. The restaurant serves dishes using local, seasonal ingredients which were tasty and not too expensive. The included breakfast was also good. Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be in arranging taxis etc. for me. The price that I paid was very reasonable, although factor in the daily parking charge of 7 Euro too, which I guess could add up on a long stay.
