Had breakfast here 3 days this week, it was delicious! The manager was so kind and the ladies were helpful. Organic fare fresh fruit cup with mint and croissant breakfast sandwich. Expanded parklet weather was beautiful.

The wokest cafe in Berkeley (I joke) also happens to be owned by one of the nicest owners in the East Bay, who runs this tiny spot, with expert efficiency churning out simple, yet elegant fresh and healthy food, excellent brewed coffee espresso drinks, all served with a no-nonsense power to the people attitude that political vets in the East Bay can relate to and enjoy. Their fresh squeezed grapefruit juice is outstanding. Never tasted better.
Their poached eggs with avocado toast or polenta are fabulous.

Food safety nightmare. Worker with long hair, hanging over food, eating breakfast with their hands at the counter while preparing customer's food without washing hands and no employees wearing masks. Surprising, especially in Covid times.

I love this place! Kind people and the best iced coffee in Berkeley. Delicious avocado toast and croissant egg sandwich too.

The breakfast baguettes are fantastic. The food doesn't overwhelm you with cheese, grease or sugar. The ambience is quiet and nice. Probably my top places in the east Bay to get a healthier substantial breakfast. Truly a 5 star review for this place.
