Really liked everything about this place. The hush puppies were delicious. The catfish and shrimp Po Boys were both delicious. Only thing I did not like was the cocktail sauce. It was VERY heavy on the horseradish. If you really like horseradish then you'll love it, if not it was overwhelming. The shrimp Po Boy comes with a heavy serving of the cocktail sauce on it so if you're a first timer, I suggest getting it on the side. The tartar sauce was delicious though, I think the shrimp Po Boy w tartar sauce would be amazing, definitely trying that next time. Just heated up our gumbo, I'll let you know how it goes!

This visit was much better than my last. Probably just more of what I like than a reflection of their quality. A very popular place. The Tuesday Special was amazing and full of flavor. My first visit was a shrimp po boy and I wasn't a fan. But like I said nothing against them I think I didn't order to my liking. The staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh. Don't delay if you want the daily special they will sell out. Give this local business a try.

I personally was not as impressed as the other reviewers.. I ordered a 12 dollar bowel of the gumbo.. and when she told me it was the chicken and sausage gumbo.. I didn’t understand because the menu is set it wasn’t a special of the day written.. it is on paper.. printed up.. all the things that are included in a 12$ bowl of soup.. no shrimp or crab or anything other than a bowl of gravy with the grease on top with some rice some vegetables and a tone of gravy (what it reminded me of). And I waited at least 10 min for dry hush puppies that could have been good if you didn’t need a glass of water to swallow them down.. I mean other people seemed pleased.. for me and what I chose to order.. it wasn’t for me. Aside from the negative. Everyone was nice. Everything looked very clean. I can’t speak for anything other than the two items I personally ordered on that day. Hope this helps
