Fish gravy was average but was good not stale, recommended if you are looking for budget Bengali restaurant around Majestic area.
But you have to have time to wait for the food, we had waited around 20 minutes for our food for two, though there were only another two persons finishing their dinner, but they cooked the fish freshly and showed the raw before cooking

This is a very pocket friendly place to relish typical everyday bengali food e.g. bhat, dal, macher jhol. The place is a bit run down and shabby but it does not pretend to be a 6 ballygunge place either. If you crave for a bout of barir khabar then you can drop by and have a hearty meal. I'm quite sure you would be leaving with a pleasant smile etched on your face making you every bit nostalgic and browsing the flight rates to our beloved kolkata or siliguri.
