Toscano

We had the festive menu today. It was delightful. We tried Salmon, Duck confit and Roast chicken. The chicken was a little dry but the rest was really yum. Toscano has been our go to place for duck. My personal favourite of their dessert menu is the hazelnut brownie and tiramisu. But surprisingly festive menu's strawberry tart was really yummy. Should definitely try. It's definitely expensive but it's good for an occasional visit :))

Lovely Pre Christmas dinner with my friends. Very warm and helpful staff. Sudipta was in charge of our table and she was so amazing! My friend had come in early as all of us got stuck in traffic. Sudipta was so empathetic and took good care of my very petrified friend. Understanding and empathy towards a customer is hard to find nowadays and Toscanos definitely have groomed their team on that ground. With regard to F&B definitely good but their mulled wine definitely is the show stopper! Visit back is very much on cards!

Very awesome recipes. The cocktails are great too! Though pasta might say penne, you can request for fusili instead. Insist on medium rare doubly, triply, if you don't want the well-done Tenderloin. If you don't insist multiple times, you'll only get dry and tight well-done meat. You have a singer singing songs live in the evenings, at least on weekends.

On a Saturday afternoon, the place is crowded. The bar is well stocked and the conversations are flowing. A mixed group of Italians, Indians and other nations have come together for what seems like a business lunch. It's quite amazing how easy it is to make out the difference between family, friends and business gatherings. We went light with a bruschetta, a white pasta and a creme brulee for dessert. The bruschetta arrives quickly. Three different toppings - tomatoes, mushrooms and raisins and tofu. Each tasting quite different and fresh. The white penne pasta with mushrooms, broccoli and corn was well-balanced with a deep mix of flavours. The simplest dishes are often the hardest to get right The creme brulee with the caramel crust was good - and the accompanying biscuit with dry fruits baked in and topped with fresh ones going well together. The prices are high but given the ambience, the speed of service and the quality of food, it was a good deal. Toscana is inside the Forum Mall - and given the footfall as well as the buzz, it could be a restful afternoon post lunch.

Tuscano can be a great addition to restaurants go-to list, if you are into fine dine for Italian delicacies. With great ambience and a candle light arrangement, nice spacious seating, and superior service, they are maintaining their name so far. I went there one evening to spend some time with friends, and we ordered a variety of items (all veg)- Risotto, Pizza, Lasagna, Mocktails, Chocolate Brownie and Cocktails. All items were presented well and tasted equally good, with special mention of Pizza, Lasagna, and Mango delight mocktail. Thumbs up for their presentation of all items, like Lasagna with pineapple slide and cheery on platter, mocktail's glass edge with sesame seeds decoration, etc. Must try: Veg Pizza, Veg Lasagna, Mango delight mocktail, and Brownie (absolute delight) No doubt that the cost is on the higher side, but taste, ambience, and service justify it to major extent. Also, they were generous enough to accept our Dineout deal post entry which gave us overall benefit of 25% and agreed to discount the service charges as well.
