A place that was known for its sizzling brownies and sandwiches. Over time it seems the quality of their ice cream is not as it used to be, especially not for the price they are charging now. Also nowadays I find their chocolate sauce a little watery. On the other hand their pastries and cakes are a wonderful delight. One big issue with the service as of today was that the paper menu seemed very dirty and worn off.

Lakeview has been around for a longtime, it is one of the old and traditional ice cream parlors of Bangalore. Its open till quite late at night and we happened to visit this place around 12 am only to find it completely packed. Somehow managed to get a table and ordered a red velvet sundae along with a sizzling brownie. The red velvet sundae was something different and nice while the sizzling brownie is the usual hot chocolate sauce poured over the ice cream on a hot plate giving it a sizzling feeling. Both the items were good and tasty. Price I found a tad bit on the expensive side for what was being offered. Nevertheless, this place is worth a visit once in a while for the desserts and just to get a feel of old Bengaluru.

Amazing classic desserts. We really enjoyed the New York Cheesecake (was exceptionally creamy and dense- one of the best I've had) and the fruit salad with ice cream ( which was simple but surprisingly delicious). The portion sizes are massive and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The place is unpretentious and has a simple vibe but the classic desserts here will not disappoint. Highly recommended to visit if you have a sweet tooth.

One of the Oldest establishments in Bangalore serving since 1930 on the famous MG road. Open till 1am, this place attracts people from all parts of the city. Menu spread over from Ice Cream Sundaes, Pastries, Cakes, Pizza, Burger & Milkshakes. Service area in Ground Floor & First floor, they also serve in your car if you are lucky to find a parking space. Also good space available in the frontage to relish your loved dishes. Did a stopover here last night & the place was relatively calm especially on Sunday night! Ordered below, Hot Chocolate Fudge - 4/5 Dry Fruit Special - 4/5 Cheese Nutella Cake - 5/5 Felt the sweet factor was on the higher side for the Ice Creams as the flavors were superseded by the sweetness. Service was quick by the staff & portion size was just good.

Ice parlour which has stood there from a long time. A fan of the red velvet bubble waffle which come switch ice cream, cream on top and hot chocolate sauce drizzled on it. The bubble waffle is crispy on the out and and soft inside. Ice cream, bubble waffle with chocolate sauce eaten is an amazing combo. The fruit salad with ice cream is okay. The quality of ice cream in general is very good.

Its been quite sometime since I wanted to visit this place basically for their famous bubble waffles.. and while the waffles were yumm, I feel it lacked proper presentation... We had ordered banoffee bubble waffle, and the taste was great... But I feel they could have given a better presentation of the same.. there were 4 sliced banana pieces and a scoop of vanilla with maybe a spoon of Nutella on the side... All I'm saying is they could have been a bit more generous with the ingredients... We had also ordered a pizza... Which was okay... The serving staff not so keen on serving... They didn't come to the table to take the order for atleast 20mins and the order took too long.. and they didn't keep basic water bottle. Overall, I felt the service was not upto the mark.

The five stars is for surviving all changing trends and still going strong at the very heart of jet-setting Bengaluru ! It is a name two whole generations have grown up with . The ice cream and pastry selection is great . Portions are generous , but they can tone down the sugar . They also serve sandwiches and burgers .
