They have great grilled chicken. You get to choose the serving size ( quarter/ half / full chicken) and the spice level. They have a range of sauces as well. The chicken very tender and juicy. I loved their grilled chicken salad as well.. the feta cheese elevated the taste completely. You must also try their seasoned rice bowls with chicken strips garnished with sour cream.

What a lively ambience! Courteous staff, i really recommend they add extra servers because on a Sunday afternoon they're seriously outnumbered and still did everything they can to delight us at our visit! Chicken liver Chicken wings Grilled chicken Ice tea to wash all this down with, all the food was served piping hot and yummy, there's obvious wait time but completely understand the pressure on the kitchen! Kudos guys for doing wonderful job and doing with a smile on your faces :)

First of all, We had a really good meal at Galitos. As a vegetarian I could see a lot options in their menu for us. We tried Country Salad, Cheesy toast, Peri Mushrooms, Paneer burger, Paneer Espetada, grilled veg rice bowl, MALVA PUDDING (Must have) and chocolate Brownie. Let me start with Malva Pudding- I must mention that it's one of their signature dishes and they excel in it! We were mind blown by the taste of the pudding. It is a must have dish from this place! - Cheesy toast, the bread was soft inside and crisp at the bottom as it was in house baked and generous amount of cheese on top. - Peri Mushrooms is a vegetarian version of their non veg dish. Mushrooms were correctly cooked and spicy gravy enhanced the taste. It was served with crisp toasts with herbs on it. - Paneer Burger, the patty was soft, well marinated and deep fried. - Paneer Espetada, grilled, stuffed, soft paneer (sandwiched cubes), onions, peppers and our choice of blasting sauce with 2 sides ( Fries and rice bowl). I felt more spices can be added to it as it was bit bland but grilled perfectly from outside! Very well presented indeed. - Veg grilled rice bowls and chocolate Brownie, as the name says it all I would not talk much about it.

This newly opened south African chain in Vega City Mall is really a great place for chicken lovers. Visited with a group of friends to try out something different and this place totally surprised me with the service, ambiance and the food. ***** Ambiance/service 5/5 ***** What a beautiful ambiance with proper lighting i should say it is perfect for every occasion. Bright and colourful ambiance will make you joyful the moment you enter this place. There is no complaint about their service. Staffs were so polite and courteous that you will feel special. ***** Starters/Main course 5/5 ***** They marinate their chicken for 24 hours ( right down to the bone) in their secret Sauces which is their main mantra for making such delicious chicken. Then they prepare flamed grilled chicken to the perfection to serve a flavourful dishes. Starters: Grilled chicken wings 🍗 Chicken & pineapple sosaties🍢 Grilled chicken liver 😍 Country Salad 🥗 Cheesy Toast 🧀 Peri shrooms Loved the grilled chicken liver, it was delicious. Grilled Chicken wings had different flavour in each wings which I found very interesting. Cheesy Toast was crispy and crunchy. Main course: Galitos platter with 6 sides Grilled chicken sausages Chicken strips and rice Pulled chicken wrap Supremo chicken burger Paneer burger Paneer/chicken espetada Grilled veggie rice bowl Chicken burger was awesome. I really liked the galitos platter. Chicken was extremely juicy. Chicken sausages was yumm. chicken wrap didn't pleased me much as I thought its taste or flavour was over shadowed by all other dishes. Great flavour and taste. ***** Deserts 5/5 ***** Malva pudding with vanilla ice cream Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream Malva pudding was the perfect after spicy grilled chicken. It was so soft and delicious that we couldn't resist to order one more. I would say this one is the MUST try. They have 5 different flavour of galitos secret sauces. I must recommend to try and taste the flavour as they are different from regular sauces available in market. My personal favourite is lemon and herbs and extra hot. You can also buy your personal favourite from there. Overall great experience. Loved the food and service. Kudos to the great staff and head Chef. 👍🏻

Truly a "bold African flavour" Galitos has its roots from south Africa. They have two outlets in Bengaluru. One at Whitefield and the other at the Vega city mall, bannerghata road. I had been to their later outlet. I thoroughly enjoyed their spicy food and loved every bit of it. They follow the concept of 24 hours marination which would be right down to the bone and flame grilled to perfection. They also procure their own breads and transport the recepies from one kitchen. 🍄🌶️🍞🧀🍖🍗🥩🥓🍔🍲🥗🍳🍛🍚🍤🍨🍧🍦🥧🍹 🇦The ambience of the restaurant is decent. It shares a common wall with another restaurant. It is indeed a neat and tidy place with good lighting and seating facility available. 🇸 Service is excellent at this place. The crew members are very courteous. They are always at your service and make sure everything goes well. The main chef of Galitos chef Inder was very generous in explaining about the food that were being served. 🇫🍽️ What I ate ??? 🍴Kiwi mint lemonade ➡️ This was the perfect mocktail which was available at the restaurant. The kiwi and mint punch was just soothing for the spicy starter that were available at Galitos. The kiwi pulp and lemonade association was simply awesome. 🍴 Chicken and pineapple sosaties ➡️ It was skewers which had the combination of Chicken,onions, pineapple that tasted amazing. They were provided with a creamy dip which enchanced their taste as well. 🍴Cheesy toast ➡️ This was another amazing thing. The garlic bread was loaded with mozzarella cheese on the top. They were mixed with vegetables and herbs. The garlic bread was very soft and tasted amazing. The cheesy toast was also provided with the Chicken present in them. 🍴peri shrooms ➡️ The peri shrooms were the grilled mushrooms with onions and tomatoe suace. The peri shrooms were hot and spicy. The sauted mushrooms were provided along with the garlic bread which was soft. 🍴Galitos platter with 6 sides ➡️ The Galitos platter was one big meal. The chicken was well marinated for 24 hours. The chicken was cooked well. They were hot and spicy. 🍴Grilled chicken sausages ➡️ The grilled chicken sausage was amazing it had a good mix of the south African spices in them. They were grilled perfectly. They were soft and tasted amazing. 🍴 Chicken combotadda ➡️ The Chicken combotadda had all the celebrity stuff in them. They were hot and spicy. They were hooked on to a nice container. They not only tasted good but also were one for the photos that were deserved to be show off on the social networking sites. 🍴Grilled veggie rice bowl ➡️ They were simple and elegant. The rice was assorted well with grilled vegetables, onions and tomatoe suaces. The rice was cooked well and tasted good. 🍴Malva pudding with vanilla ice cream ➡️ The malva pudding was good. They were fresh and so was the vanilla ice cream which was served along with it. 🍴 Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream ➡️ The chocolate brownie tasted good. It was served along with vanilla ice cream. I loved the chocolate brownie among the two desserts. All in all Galitos is one place which provides you with amazing lipsmacking south African cuisine which is very spicy. The ambience and service is also good at this place. I loved most of their Chicken starters and their authentic sauces are a big hit. Their secret sauces are a must try which are brought exclusively from south Africa. Galitos is a south east African brand that currently has 2 outlets in Bangalore. I have been earlier to the Whitefield outlet and this time I got a chance to visit the Vega City Mall outlet too. As compared to the whitefield one, Galitos VegaCity is less spacious. Ambience is nice, lighting is optimum for a dining point of view and decor is contemporary.Seating is comfortable but the table seemed to be a bit high for me. I started with my favourite Classic Kiwi Lemonade and it was very refreshing. Coming to a restaurant with a big gang lets you taste variery of dishes. Following were the dishes I tasted: Starters: 1.Chicken and Pineapple Sosatiles- Very moist yet grilled to perfection! I never knew coriander seeds and pineapple go so well with chicken untill I tasted it. A must try starter I must say! 2.Cheesy Veg/Chicken Toast- It was actually garlic bread topped with mozzarella cheese and grilled vegetables or chicken. I did not quite like the veg version. The chicken one was awesome. 3.Peri Shrooms-Grilled Mushrooms in peri peri sauce, tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. It was like home cooked spicy mushroom. I loved it. It was served with a slice of garlic bread. 4.Grilled Chicken wings- The 24 hour marination showed off in this dish. It was cooked to perfection with just the right mix of sauces and then flame grilled. 5.Grilled Chicken sausage: One of the best sausages I had in towm.It was served with sour cream salad. Main Course with sides: 1.Galitos Platter with 6 sides: This infact is a meal in itself. You can choose the sides like rice, corn, fries, veggies etc. 2 full chicken comes with it which are cooked with absolute perfection. 2. Grilled Veggie Rice bowl- The rice was extremely flavourful, thick and long grain. The grilled veggies were my favourite. 3. Chicken Espetada: Beautifully presented and superb in taste. A must try out in Galitos. It comes with 2 sides. We took grilled corn and spinach with mashed potato as sides. The spinach had a overdoze of garlic which I could not enjoy much. 4.Paneer Espatada: When I say that paneer can give tough competition to chicken, one can imagine how good that dish must be. No words to describe this beauty! Desserts : 1.Malva Pudding with Vanilla Ice cream: Good dessert after a grand meal. 2.Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream: The usual brownie with vanilla ice-cream. It would be great if it came on a sizzler plate. 3.Baked Yogurt with Berry Sauce: A superb and refreshing dessert. I liked it a lot. Overall, food was too good. 90% of the dishes were outstanding which is very rare now a days. The staff is good and polite. service needs a bit of improvement. The best part is the pricing. Very good place to throw a party to friends as there are lots of good and economic combo offers. I would love to visit again and again and again :)

Are your tired of eating regular food???If YES,this is the place you need to visit. It has made its journey from Africa to India and has done a great work in exposing us to superbly new flavours. Galitos has opened their 2 branch in Bangalore - Vega City Mall Bannerghatta 3rd Floor. The ambience is colourful just like their flavours with more focus on lighting and gives a vibrant feel. The Beverages • Lemonade Classic -refreshingly cool • Lemonade Kiwi- one of the best drink with the combination of kiwi, lemon and mint The Starters • Chicken and Pineapple Sosatiles - Chicken,Pineapple and Onions skewed in the their sauce and one of the best starter to try out • Cheesy Toast- Bread served with Mozzarella cheese,herbs and grilled mixed vegetables this was my personal favourite • Peri Shrooms-Grilled Mushrooms with tomato sauce and Onion. Taste was good not my personal favourite • Galitos Platter with 6 sides-Spicy,hot one of their signature dishes and this dish will make you visit this place again and again. Chicken is marinated for 24 hours with the right spices and cooked to perfection • Grilled Chicken Liver- Not everyone likes it but someone who wants to try liver I think you have reached the right place. One of the best dishes on the menu The Main Course • Pulled Chicken Wrap- Wrap with full of grilled chicken and veggies along with fries. All the kids will definitely love it. • Grilled Veggie Rice bowl- Rice Just compliment the varieties of chicken and sauce. Highly recommended!!!! The Desserts • Malva Pudding with Vanilla Ice cream - this actually reminded me of my stay in Africa....one of the best dish. Must try & Highly recommended • Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream • Baked Yogurt with Berry Sauce - this was again a killer on taste and must try. Galito's serves some delectable dishes, they have some awesome chicken prep options but the vegetarian options don't dissapoint either. Their USP is 24hr marination, every single item that is served is marinated for a min. of 24hrs which ensures, the meat stays juicy and tender. We went in for a saturday lunch anf ended up having a lot of items... Cheesy Toast Pulled chicken wrap Supremo Chicken burger Grilled Mushroom rice bowl Chicken and pineapple sosaties Must Tries: Country Salad - One of the best salads I've tried at any proper restaurant, the feta was perfect and the seasoning was just the right kind. Chicken Espetada - Delicious!! This is something that everyone should try, It comes in a snazzy plate with hanging seekhs, and tastes even more awesome, the chicken was juicy and tender and the 24hr marination did wonders to it. Grilled chicken liver - This became my favourite for two reasons, the liver served wasn't hard to eat and the sauce in which it was made was spot on...dip some garlic toast and you would relish it for hours together. Flame Grilled Chicken - The signature dish. Comes in sauce of your choice, so you can customise it accordingly. The chicken was grilled to perfection, tender chicken and if you're aware of how flame grilled is cooked, the chicken wasn't charred at all.. just fine lines of the cook. Grilled chicken sausages - This is for people who love gourmet food, customised chicken sausages ordered specially for Galitos, the quantity is pretty good, the sausages as they are non-industrially made, have a vert distinct flavour. The cook on the sausage was perfect, keeping it tender... served with some caramelized chilly onions, makes for a picture perfect dish. Looks appetizing right... It was a definite delight to have so much of chicken in just one day. Things that I would like you guys to improve on would be the meat choices, chicken definitely is a winner but experimenting with the kind of flavours you guys serve, more meat options would be great. The hot sauces come in varied varieties and you can customise your food accordingly.. Galitos definitely adds a different cuisine onto your palate so you should rush to Vega city mall and try it out.

Everything on the menu is Exceptional and extraordinary. Impressive Presentation. Impeccable quality. The brilliant starters like the lemon and herb Satay are appetizing and have an outburst of Bold Fiery African Flavors that excite the palate. Chicken Espetada is a treat for the eyes and a feast for the tummy. I absolutely relished the outstanding Supremo Chicken burger. Thick, Succulent and delicious Chicken Fillet topped with fresh ingredients enclosed in a soft bun made inhouse. My favorite and one of the best Ive eaten. Flame Grilled Chicken is Incredible. Zesty, piquant, flavorful, Well marinated for 24 hours and cooked to perfection. I fall short of words to describe how fabulous it was. This is one of their signatures and the most popular. Highly Recommended Chicken Rice Bowl was remarkable. Had a great aroma with the right balance of spice and texture. A complete meal in itself. Desserts were splendid. Delightful culmination to a superb afternoon. A special mention to the Malva Pudding which is a Melt in the mouth cake with a Smooth, sweet and creamy caramel sauce providing heavenly bliss. The have a phenomenal selection of imported bottled peri peri sauces that you can take home. However the Chicken wings were average can be improved. (8/10) Service- Excellent. Wonderful welcome and hospitality. Waiters go out of the way to make guests feel special and serve with a smile. Staff is knowledgeable, attentive, polite, well trained, courteous, quick and efficient. (8/10) Ambience- Amazing decor. Well planned layout. Spacious arrangement. Comfortable colorful sofas and chairs for seating. Spectacular designer lights. Beautiful Wallpapers. Nice music and air conditioning. Elegant matching wooden flooring and tables. Marvelous tempting food posters adorn the entrance. The exuberant environment and surroundings give a posh and sophisticated feel. (9/10) Pocket Friendly with Value for money. I am sure that once you try Galitos you will agree that Its better, healthier and tastier than its competitors such as Nando's. Will definitely visit again to satisfy cravings. As a Massai Proverb from Tanzania Says "Happiness is as good as food", Galitos indeed does bring a smile on the face of the diners.

I have been waiting for Galito's to open ever since the mall opened. It took its time and I was thinking it better be worth it. It was. I found this open yesterday and when asked, they mentioned it had opened only the previous day. I changed my plans and immediately went for lunch. I had a Chicken Espetada and was sure I would need to order something else. I didn't have to. The chicken and the two sides (grilled vegetables and spinach potatoes) were excellent. I had it with the hot sauce which I liked. I poured a little of the extra hot sauce which was too hot for me but I enjoyed it in small quantities. I hope the place keeps up the quality and the service. I'm looking forward to go back here again.
