Aroi

I enjoyed my first visit to Aroi. The staff was really friendly and was ready to accomodate any of our requests. I started off with a SriLankan Deviled Chicken which was good, it was spicy and had just the right amount of chillies without going overboard. I followed that up with a Chicken Khow Suey which was served with both crisp and soft noodles, a coconut based mellow chicken gravy and a host of toppings. The topping included burnt garlic, crispy fried onion, peanuts, chillies, boiled egg, fish sauce and a lot more. The server told me that I could ask for any other toppings if i so wished. The decor and ambience at Aroi was cosy with some interesting wall paintings and bird cages suspended above our heads. A memorable first visit. I'll be sure to visit when i pass by in the future.
