Cracker Barrel

A 30 min wait turned into an hour but our host, Doreen, was an absolutely delight. Even masked you could tell she was smiling! Sheila was our server and was a joy! Very prompt with everything. And she never let Mom run out of coffee!! Food wasn't great but it was good. After the long wait I was really hungry and just slightly disappointed. I've eaten here a lot a few years ago and noticed a difference in the seasoning. For instance, the hash brown casserole tasted the same as the mashed potatoes. And for the price... could have been much better...$30.00 for Mom and I.

Carlos our servers was very attentive to us keeping our drinks refill constantly everything was perfect on the table. But as you can see the chicken fry steak didn't come with my brown gravy and was kind of overcooked doesn't compare to my last year's chicken fried steak. The reason I gave it to three stars it's because I ordered a 2-piece fish dinner to go and and when I got home it only had one piece of fish.

First let me say the flavor of the food was awesome. I had the pot-pie and wife had the catfish. The issue was service & quantity: 1- I had drank most (3/4) of my "Arnold Palmer" prior to the meal being served. and was never offered a refill, not even after I set my empty glass at the edge of the table. Then I finished the wife's drink and placed it there. Our ticket was placed in between the two classes. 2- we were served biscuits and cornbread with no butter, when we asked for butter it took most of the meal before we received it. 3- Wife's mashed potatoes was plentiful with a smidge of gravy on top. It had no little pit of gravy in the potatoes (more gravy, please). 4- My pot pie was less than a half inch thick and the bowl was more than an inch deep. The pastry top equaled to more than the filling did. ============= I am not one to send food back or complain in the restaurant, that is not fair to other patrons, I don't want to create issues in front of them. We ate and moved on. We have eaten at this Cracker Barrel many times and this was the worst time. We will be back because we believe everyone has a bad day here and there. But please Cracker Barrel hear the request to get some training out for service and food quality/quantity. and by the way, where are the hush puppies...

I stopped in for a quick bite. First visit. The service was fine and my salad was ok. I do not like the idea of dining in a place that also sells items. My lunch companion wanted to get the syrup that was offered here with the pancakes, thus the reason for the visit. This doesn't mean that this is a bad place, it's just not what I like. If you haven't tried it, do not be deterred, you may enjoy it. 🤗

Food was good but could have been better. Probably a 3.5 overall. The Fried Apples were my favorite part of dinner and highly recommend. I had the CHILE JACK GRILLED CHICKEN. Was good but not as tasty as I had hoped. Baked potato and steak fries was average. My wife had the sugar cured ham was pretty good. Waiter was really good. Only complaint was not removing empty bottles from table that allowed my granddaughter to knock on floor and breaking one. The waiter and fried apples brought score up from a 3 to a 4 even with the oversight of clearing empty items from our table.

Went in to get an early morning start on the day. At 7am we were almost the only ones there and were able to sit immediately. I ordered the Grandma's Sampler. Between the two of us we ate the perfect amount of pancakes, eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon. We did not get the Ham that is part of the meal but rather substituted another sausage. Overall very filling and not too much. Just a great way to start the day!

From the moment we walked in the door everything was excellent, once seated Deb took our order and made sure everything was to our liking. The pancakes, French toast and all the sides were hot off the stove and made to order, from the first bite we knew this would be our breakfast spot. Thank you Deb for your wonderful service and the cooks in the kitchen keep the griddle hot and the bacon fried to perfection!!!
