The definition of no frills mom and pop charm. Great long lasting local spot for the best donuts.

First time here since the owner change. I used to love this place and would stop by anytime I came into the area. The donuts were just bad this time: the custard was sour, old fashion donuts were flat and the one bar I had filled was cut in 3 places, the regular chocolate glazed had the glaze cracked and gross looking within an hour and stale as a rock. 8 donuts for $18. I'll not come back.

New owner... they have donuts and other pastry really delicious in the morning they have a light menu breakfast and on Saturday and Sunday they have some delicious tamales 🫔 AND I GOT TO SAY THEY HAVE BEST COFFEE I EVER TASTED IN A DONUT SHOP.

Really love the filled donuts (jelly and Boston cream - had them on New Year's Eve, just like the folks in Germany have the equivalent called Berliners between the big meal and the midnight countdown!) Nancy is super friendly and warm. Kids love hopping in there to pick their rainbow sprinkle donuts too :) Sadly, I heard from Nancy today that this is their last week in business as COVID has really taken a toll on them. And all this while, they have been giving away unsold baked goods to the Samaritan House the next morning so Nancy and her business partner have been doing their part for the needy in our local community - I will miss this local ol' school spot...

A little dated bakery but good local place to get donuts. We haven't tried their pies and cookies but they always have a large selection of those on display. The croissants are huge. We tried their chocolate, almond and plain croissants. The chocolate one was very dry. The almond and plain croissants were dry too but also tasted sour/yeasty, as if the dough was left to proof too long. The texture of the croissants were bread like. The donuts are good. Next time, we'll stick to the donuts.

Great little neighborhood donut shop - mom 'n pop style with that truly local feel that seems to be rapidly disappearing in the Bay Area. Freshly made donuts in the morning are the highlight, from raised and filled to kruellers and old fashioned. They stick to the simple stuff but they do it well. Won't disappoint! Coffee is just decent, come for the donuts.

Ordered two donuts, and a French vanilla coffee. Donuts were delicious and coffee was good, all for less than 5 bucks. The lady behind the counter is super friendly and looked happy to help me. Will definitely be coming back
