Mama C's Buttercream & Sprinkles

With the help of Mama C's Buttercream & Sprinkles, the Bridal Shower for my future Daughter-in-law to be was a Great Big Success!!! They made beautifully decorated variety of Wedding Cookies on which Diane added a Special Personal touch. All Very Delicious! They made a 6 inch square cake, very fancy decorated to match the Bride-to-be's Wedding Dress on which it draped over one side of the cake. Gorgeous and Delicious! With cookies & cream cake, very moist and topped with her Yummy Special Buttercream Icing! Also they made Petit-fours all made of her tasty pound cake with a in-between layer of a delicious Raspberry filling. Covered with a smooth white icing. Together they looked so beautiful as if a machine made them all. The taste was wonderful! And last... they made/baked up little square cakes (2 1/2 to 3 inches). Each one was hand decorated with their awesome Buttercream Icing and a tasty Key Lime cake for some and the other a soft moist chocolate cake. Each were decorated with ruffles, pearls and sprinkles. And... to top it off, they made individual square purple plates on which each cake was served on... Everyone who attended the Bridal Shower could not say enough about how beautiful, elegant and delicious everything looked and tasted... I know Diane put her whole heart and love into everything she made. It Sure Showed!!! I thank Diane and Mama C's Buttercream & Sprinkles on help making this such a Special Day that we all will never forget... NOW THE WEDDING! They will be baking up for sure something wonderful & delicious! Thank You Again!

Do not use Mama C's Bakery in Bellevue,Ky!!!!We had issues from day 1 of ordering my daughter's cake. First was after I placed my reservation date , I was told to text pictures of what I wanted. I never recieved any confirmation, after calling, texting, and leaving voicemails I still never heard back from anyone until I called again a week later. Then the day of the party we were to pick the cake up at 12pm for our 1pm party. I recieved a phone call at 10:50am stating the credit card machine was down to pay with cash or check. Which was completely fine. But then I recieved another phone call at 11:55am. Now remember my pick up time was at noon and my husband was almost there. I was told they had to rebake my cake and it wasn't going to be ready until 1pm. But my daughter's party was at 1pm! I was dumbfounded and didnt know what to do as we had over 60 people coming to the party. I told them they were going to have to deliver the cake because I could not just leave the party. I called the shop at 1:40pm asking if they were on the way with cake, the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude when I stated I was extremely disappointed in how the situation was handle, especially this being my first experience with them. She told me that I was going to have to tell Mike who was delivering the cake. The cake FINALLY arrived at 2:15pm. But the trouble did not end. I requested a 2 tiered cake, I was only a 12 inch round. The cake was still hot. The icing was melting and the cake was sinking. We hurried and sang happy birthday as the cake topper I bought and candles were starting to sink and fall. Once I cut into the cake the issues did not end. I requested a chocolate cake with strawberry filing. There was little to none of the strawberry filing and the cake was still under cooked. The icing was falling off the cake and the cake was sticking to the tray. The experience was just bad all around. Not once did anyone ask how they could make it right, not once was there a sincere apology. And never again will I or my friends and family give Mama C's our business. FYI!!!And they also delete negative reviews!!!!!!

I fell in love with these cupcakes when Mama C’s was operating out of the second floor of an antique shop during First Friday's in Bellevue. Mama C’s has been a part of some important moments in my life. She made my wedding cake. She delivered a cupcake arrangement for my sister’s 28th birthday. She’s my go to brunch dessert stop. I now live in MO, but she’s the one place I HAVE to visit when I’m in town. I can’t get enough of her cake donuts and cupcakes!

1)Called to order 3 dozen cookies took 5 days for them to return my call. 2)Called at least 7 days early so my cookies for my daughter's baby shower would be ready. 3)Went to pick up my cookies 2 hours before the shower. The cookies were not ready, not even baked. They had over looked the order. Supposedly it had fallen behind the phone. 4)They apologized and said they would get the cookies to the shower. I said ok shower starts at 12:30 have them there by then. They agreed. 5)They didn't show up till 1:00pm after the guests had arrived. Part of the cookies were still wet! The delivery man who was rude charged me a reduced rate of 20.00 for wet, late, mediocre cookies. So disappointing. 6)I will NEVER order anything from Mama C's again.
