Broadway Diner

Guess the diner didn’t think I’d check my credit card transactions. They charged me $17.18 for pancakes and hash brown. I originally had four, I watched her remove one of them while I was walking towards the front counter. So, I had three pancakes and said that’s fine. I was in a hurry to the airport so I tipped a buck and headed out. Instead of being charged $12.18, I was charged $17.18 for just pancakes (missing one) and a hash brown. Was this a racially charged move since I’m brown skinned— who knows, but why overcharge your customer like this? Now, I’m disputing with the bank. I will get my money back. I put two stars because the pancakes actually did taste well. I will never go back to this diner again.

Really great diner style place. Had the Pork Ribeye and it was perfect, really good coffee too! Staff was friendly and attentive. The best part was sitting at the counter and watching the kitchen staff work their magic. The Chef ran a tight crew and it was a lively place to observe. Kudos to everyone!!

Only real breakfast place in the Belgrade area. We had to wait 25 minutes or so for a table arriving there at 10:00am on a Sunday. Tells me it's a good place if people are willing to wait for a table. I wasn't wrong. Our server was very friendly even though it was busy! Food was very good. Good ol' fashioned truck stop diner. My favorite kind of place!

This place is usually hoppin busy & worth it. The waitresses never stop moving. The pancakes are the best & I love the chicken fried steak. Only turn-off I've had is repeatedly raw hash browns-firm & white. When I ask for them crisp, I got white, firm shreds that were kinda scorched on 1 side. We don't have much in Belgrade so I'm glad they're here.

Why can't they be open longer? Have the truckers suffered enough? Long day of traveling and want a hot meal and close at 4pm. Non sense. Should be open to midnight. Open at 4am. Shame. I see the business gone down hill because of this. Open it up and longer your business will come back. I was really looking forward to a nice dinner.

Seen the sign said wait to be seated, a gal was chopping it up with another worker and I stood for 5 minutes before I was noticed. I only wanted to sit at the counter so the talker said seat yourself. A nice server approached me immediately after sitting to ask my drink preference and out of nowhere the talker barged across the room and said she had me handled. I felt awkward and I tried to calm down but the talker was really pushy and rude, I couldn't handle the thought of having to deal with her so I walked out. I was really disappointed about the whole experience. The talker is a very rude pushy person and I felt bad that she pushed the server I had out of the way. Don't know her name but I'm sure the others who work there know exactly who I'm talking about. I will never attempt to eat there again because of this experience. She is a bad asset to the business. Hopefully she can work on her attitude and learn how to give people their space and be respectful of her fellow workers.

This restaurant is the American Classic. It has been around for decades, and has been a staple for families around the area. I know that I'm not the only one who grew up in that place, nor will I be the last. The food is alright, but the staff are great. It's the greasy spoon you didn't know you needed.
