Breakfast came as I had requested it and it was very nice. It's refreshing to have a breakfast that didnt need sent back because of something being wrong with it. We were both impressed by the quality of the products. If I could pick one fault to balance this review I'd say please butter the toast.... Honestly if you want a decent breakfast I'd definitely go here.

Exactly what you want and expect from a local Scottish cafe. Filled with local people, workmen and families, it’s got a great buzz about the place. Haggis, lorne and black pudding on fresh rolls. The perfect fried breakfast to sit in or a quick roll before you start the day. If it’s a quiet cup of tea with a great view this isn’t the place for you but for a hearty breakfast in a local place it really is brilliant.

I didn’t know about this cafe until I was in a few weeks back, and everything about this place was amazing… the staff were lovely and welcoming, the food was amazing and very well priced (especially for the big portions). I highly recommend, and I will definitely be back☺️

Loving all the new staff great service and great food you are all so friendly.
Gail made me a platter for 2 people for my birthday and it was enough to feed 4. I had to put it in container so there’s missing bits from the photo. Afternoon tea from the bridge cafe is my favourites thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️

Popped in for a breakfast this morning and wow, it was outstanding. So fresh and tasty, best breakfast I’ve had in years including many top hotels & restaurants. Service was lovely and fast too. Will be back very soon, thank you.

Their standards haven't slipped since last year & as u can see their £6 breakfast was all editable & a picture of beauty BUT i recommended to the young waitress that it would be a good idea to have cork place mats for the small teapot & hot water to sit them on & that would reduce heat dissipation.
Back in again Fri 4/8/23 BUT we only got 1/4 way in & because we hadn't booked was told they were full up - FAIR ENOUGH but she didn't mention that we could sit outside on the 3 unoccupied tables that didn't have any 'RESERVED' signs on them SO i was recommended to try the Cafébar 1912 yds up North Bridge st. & u can read my poor report on it.

Hadn't been there for a few yrs. Table never cleaned. No fish, no jacket potatoes, no eggs, only one soup. Took an hr to get served. Dirty glasses, floaters in milk and water. Only good thing cheap. Under stand new manager there but not present. Staff did their best, but too many problems. It used to be a first class place

First time in here. Was very nice that the staff gave us a table as they were booked tables which we didn't know. Our lunch was BEAUTIFUL the staff were FANTASTIC. Well done. Ps Your mini cheesecakes were awesome. We will definitely be back to your beautiful cafe.

On my own. Last minute decision to have a breakfast. In and out in 30 minutes (my choice I wasn't rushed). Deluxe breakfast, American, 2 rounds of toast for £8. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and service. Reliable and dependable.
