A lovely bar with a fantastic choice of wine, they had someone playing the piano and singing, absolutely brilliant. Recommend going there again.

Had one of the most fun experiences in a long time at this cosy bar! Staff were super friendly, had a good selection of wines and nice decor. We were lucky the Guitarist was playing a set on the night we came to bath, he was brilliant! Everyone crammed together in room listening and singing along. Worth catching if you are visiting Bath!

Lovely staff - and unless things have changed, some of the reviews below are incorrect, they know their wine! In fact, maybe the relaxed not “winey” attitude has confused some other customers - not being all 3 star sommelier and snooty doesn’t mean no knowledge.
Anyway - rant over. Great wine - particularly good Gewurtztraminer and stunning Gigondas. Friendly vibe. Lunatic (in a good way) pianist.

One of if not my favourite place to enjoy a drink in good company in bath. Lovely staff with a brilliant knowledge of their selection of drinks and very accommodating. If you find yourself in bath I couldn't recommend a better place to spend the evening !

Very friendly staff with a great knowledge on their wine selection. And they have many different wines for a good price. The atmosphere is also fantastic, perfect for dating.

We spent our Saturday night in here. Lovely cute wine bar with very knowledgable and friendly staff. Cheese and charcuterie great value and well presented.
Next time we're in Bath, we'll be back.

We've always loved coming to Barton Street Wine Bar & have often talked about needing to write a good review. Last Saturday the owner unknowingly proved to us that he completely deserved 5 stars!
We had orchestrated very short child care for our 6 month old & planned to come here for a late lunch. Upon arrival, we discovered that the restaurant wasn't open yet, but the owner saw us at the door & welcomed us inside... even though he wasn't ready to open to the public yet. I couldn't believe his hospitality.
He saved our date!! 😍 And, we were able to enjoy a beautifully delicious sharing board & sipped on large glasses of yummy wine.
I've never been disappointed with anything here, but this time I was completely blown away by our experience.
