Not only did the “frisco melt” (pictured) not have any frisco sauce, but it was not cooked completely. The fries & double cheeseburger I ordered as well, were not cooked completely either. AND I waited in the drive-thru line for at least 30 minutes before receiving my food. The service was mediocre AT BEST - in fact, the server who gave me my food was rude, AND before receiving my food, I saw them go out to their car - in their uniform & all. They sat out there for at least 10 minutes. I don’t care what happened to this franchise - whether due to COVID or not - but they either need to get their s*** together, or they need to close. This is pathetic.

I guess they're temporarily closed today, awesome I can deal with that. However you can still place an online order, they will still charge you for it, the online order page tells you to contact the local restaurant but they don't answer since they're temporarily closed.
Edit- I did finally get the refund, that process needs to be easier but that's not entirely this location's fault, aside from neglecting to update their hours when they close temporarily.

The food is good. Nothing special, but still what you'd expect. The shakes are definitely good (as they should be). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is rather cold and impersonal.
Considering the Steak & Shake's legacy, it is now the complete opposite as you order from a digital kiosk, pour your own fountain drink, and wait to retrieve your food from the counter when it's ready. The drive-thru has more personal touch.
Besides that, the restaurant needs a good thorough cleaning (including the ceiling hvac registers that are caked with dirt).
Recommend for the food, but stick to the drive-thru.

Waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes because something with their grill. They didn't even give me all of my food I ordered which added to the time I was waiting. The food was throw into the bag and the workers don't smile. Everything was rushed and not correct. Don't waste your time at this location.

When I order a large fry I don’t mean a small fry in a large container. Fill up the fries as they are ordered.

Tried to order in drive through and was told to go to window then at the window was asked what I wanted and I asked what they had so far and he said something I didn’t order then when I told them I did not order that was told I have to come inside to order and had the window slammed in my face I go through the drive through for window service not for terrible service then be told to go inside never coming back

Been going here for years . Went a couple times now, at first I was like I will give them another chance. But long waits cold food. Missing items, attitude at window. I wish it was better. Place has really gone down hill in the 5 years I lived here

Better burgers than Mickey D's, Burger King, and Sonic. Great onion rings. Miffed they got rid of their patty melt and breakfast items.
