Wow! This place still going? This was a regular stop for me to get an egg sandwich and coffee as I was on my way to work at the WMRR yard on Key Highway (Now the Maryland Cruise Center) and before that it was the go to place for the guys at Railway Express on Calvert St ( Now Merritt Clubs Downtown Athletic Club) in the 60's
Both of those places are gone now and I no longer have to work as I enjoy my retirement in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California but I still remember the excellent service, the tasty food and the great tasting coffee that would warm me up in the winter on a cold 5 AM morning break at the frigid Railway Express platform.
It's good to see that some of the small pleasures are still around and hopefully making fresh meatball sandwiches' instead of accumulating ground beef for their meatloaf sandwiches.
That was their slogan and signage way back in the day. "Our meatloaf is made fresh not accumulated."
I hope you enjoyed my walk down memory lane.

Was my first time there. Got a cheeseburger sub. It was OK. It was a typical sub shop.seemed to have a good selection. Many People I work with have tried this particular place and said it's really good based on their experiences I guess maybe I'll have to try them again

I've been going to The Dog House for the last 35 years at least. Way before they rebuilt. It was great then when his dad had it and even better now with Paul and his wife running the place. See you soon.
