La Calle

New to Baltimore but have been trying places all around Fells and have not found a place worth a review until now. This is an incredibly affordable and nice place for a meal. The service was kind, thoughtful, and efficient. Brunch was fantastic and we will be returning for dinner in the future and telling friends.

My husband loves Mexican cuisine and, being from Latin American myself, I had not been convinced of how special this food could be until we went to La Calle. This is my family’s special spot in Baltimore when we want to treat ourselves. The food, especially the Tres Leches (I too bake) is God inspired. I am planning on ordering a full sized cake, if they allow me to do it, for my birthday. We often sit at the bar and the drinks are phenomenal! Even though we often pay more than what we would like at the end of the meal, the experience—food, ambiance and service—are worth it. I could not recommend a better place in Baltimore.

I came into Baltimore a day early just to eat here. I can't tell you in words how delicious the food and cocktails are here. It is really next level. Their new location is really nice. If your visiting Baltimore and like Mexican food, you must stop in and have some food and drinks. The Mexican corn and steak is really amazing. I'm still sitting here at the bar.. 3 hours and just keep ordering drinks, food and adding pics to my review. I just want to try it all!! Passion fruit margarita is so flavorful!

So glad we finally made it out to La Calle's new location in Fells Point! This is elevated authentic Mexican cuisine like we have not experienced elsewhere in Baltimore. The Passionfruit Aguachile was amazing, and the three salsas that accompanied it with homemade chips were all unique and flavorful (the salsa macha was addictive). Also loved the enchiladas verde and short rib tacos. Portions are large and filling! Wrapped up dinner with a unique sotol, the perfect ending. Can't wait to come back to try more of the menu options!

Absolutely loved La Calle! Everything I had was delicious and the service was wonderful. Loved the ambience and decor. Excited to have visited during their first week open and I know they will draw the crowds! I tried the red sangria, white sangria, empanadas, elote, ceviche of the day, and fish tacos. All delish!
