Purumiru

Have ordered takeaway as well as eaten in the restaurant, both times very impressed! This has become our fav Korean restaurant in Balmain/ Rozelle, it's as authentic as you can get outside of Korea. The seafood pancake, stuffed zucchini flowers, wagyu beef BBQ, beef rib soup were all super good. We cannot recommend more!

We love Purumiru! The food is delicious and great value. The staff are fantastic and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. I love that they give us a cold towel and icy cold water as soon as we sit down on a hot day. They also give a towel and drink to our baby when we take her, so sweet. Favorite restaurant in Balmain - love it :D

We have eaten here quite a few times and have also done takeaway. All the experiences have been excellent. Food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and attentive, and the place is set up very nicely. This is a new place so not too busy yet but don’t let that put you off from trying it. We moved to the area about a year ago and I was hoping that someone will have the idea to open up a Japanese barbeque place in Balmain (one was sorely missing) … and then this place popped up just around the corner from us. While the food is Korean it has a lot of Japanese influence (at least in the presentation and service). The barbeque set (I have tried both dinner and their lunch special) is great. It is served on your table raw, with a small charcoal barbecue for you to grill it on, and a selection of dipping sauces and flavoured salts. Side dishes are very tasty. They also have Japanese beer that is actually brewed in Japan (Sapporo black). The other food is also very good. I like and highly recommend their Korean seafood pancake and fried chicken.
