Don Taco

Hello everyone, First thing first, I know this is Arizona and taco shops are abundant, but the West Side is usually neglected. Luckily this little gem popped up. The tastes are a bit different then most places, as the cuisine is more from Central Mexico, as opposed to the Northern fair we're accustomed to, but don't let that deter you! The tacos are fresh and full of flavor, carne asada are my favorite. Salsas are made fresh daily, should you like a little spice 😋. I have yet to try the entire menu, but I'll make sure to update this post as I do. Oh, should you have a craving for something sweet try the fresas con crema. They are sweet and tangy. To be honest, I can't fully explain the taste and joy it brought me, you'll just have to try it 😊

I was very impressed with the food. I tried it for the first time today and I will say it was worth the cost. I was a little intimidated with the price at first but I'm glad I didn't pass the opportunity to try it. I will be back again for sure. I loved that we got caramelized onions and jalapeno with carrots and cucumber without even asking next to a burrito. And the salsa was great I liked them both green and red.

Great authentic food! In town visiting from Santa Ana, California. Saw this place while driving by was a bit skeptical about the restaurant due to being located in a shopping plaza but as soon as we walked in we felt welcomed. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Food is authentic, family owned place and mom is the cook.
