Burger King

I actually watched a documentary on the founding of Mc Donald's and Burger King, and how Burger King winded up stealing one of Mr. Ray Kroc protégé to help them become a top competitor with Burger King. The two organizations are like the top basketball teams going neck to neck yearly for the championship. It's amazing how they've develop and develop the different entrees to grab the publics attention and customer base even if only for a bit too pull ahead of the other in sales. Then it's back to the drawing board. I'm not too much of a fast food fan, but the French toast sticks, and potato tots with some orange juice in the morning gets my morning going right. They have the 3 or the 5 stick, in which I usually do the 5, and it all comes out to under $10. Even though I believe I'm a bit lactose intolerant like many other African Americans on a hot day a vanilla or chocolate ice cream cone or cup for $100 or under $2 cannot beat. Now they have the $1 frozen Fanta drink. The fish sandwich occasionally is a go to for me as well so I'd be lying if I said every now and then I don't slide through a Burger King.

The voice thru the drive thru speaker was easy to understand.  They were out of all drinks that were not pre packaged the day I patronized them. That was ok though, because I was there for my Whopper Jr.  It was perfect.  The vegetables were fresh, the condiments were adequate,  and, of course, the meat was freshly hot when I received it. I added bacon to my burger, and they added enough to give me bacon in almost every bite.  The next time I'm in this area, I'll definitely stop in and grab another one.

Other than being out of the wild cherry frozen drink and forgetting my sauce for my nuggets, my experience was good. The person taking my order at the drive thru did have a hard time understanding me..But I give her credit cause she was polite and patient as I repeated my order, she remained respectful. So maybe check the drive thru speaker and mics?

This location of BK was surprisingly fast the day off my visit. The food was almist as good as I expect when pulling into any Burger King and the staff was friendly too. My only complaints are about their parking lot which has been turned into one giant pot hole and it seemed like it ripped both axles outta my car and I don't have the money to replace parts on my cars suspension because I had a craving for MCWhatever!

Say what you will, but I love BK. The flame grilling sets their burgers apart from other fast food burgers. Couple that with a seeming endless supply of coupons available in print or in their app means you can eat pretty good for pretty cheap. My wife and I used a coupon and got their Whopper combo meal for 2, added bacon and cheese to both burgers and came away for a shade over $12. And a little flyer included in the bag let us know that BK is doing their part to fight depletion of the ozone layer by helping to minimize methane gas produced by cow farts. Not too bad in the neighborhood. Just don't go to this particular location after dark..it gets a little scary with all the nefarious activities happening in this part of town.
