Sauce

While our dine-in experiences have been good (twice), our Uber Eats experience has left a foul taste; It has taken over 1 HOUR AND THIRTY MINUTES for 1xChicken Salad and 1xNachos to be made - let alone delivered. (On a Thursday night). Plus TWO attempted phone calls and both rang straight through no answer and no voicemail. Disappointed and judging from the other reviews I can now see why.

I'm a big fan of this place but I was VERY disappointed from my last visit!! My husband and I waited to be seated, several staff members looked back at us and continued to ignore us. Once one staff member decided to seat us we sat for 20 mins waiting to order. No staff member came to take our order DESPITE the several times I asked. The girl that was serving us kept saying 1 minute and never came. It wasn't as busy as usual so there was no reason for the wait. The other worker behind the counter was looking at us and ignoring when I tried to call her over she turned around facing the sink to text on her phone. There were about 3 or 4 staff and nobody came to help us. We simply got up and left! It was incredibly disappointing. I urge the owner to take a close look at your employees it is a shame that such an amazing place is handled by irresponsible workers. We definitely will not go back after a disgusting experience.

I have not had more horrible food at this price in Sydney. The pastas tasted as if they were made in shelved ketchup and pizza was ugly n soggy. The staff was busy chitchating rather than attending to customers. The plates were chipped and there was such a huff n puff when asked to replace.. all in all i paid $60 for a pasta and a pizza that was awful.

Disgusting service ! Surprised my sister with a birthday dinner with friends, I ordered a cake to come in for once our meals were finished, I told the girl to bring out the cake now, which she said okay,15 minutes later there was no cake I went and asked for it again from another girl waited another 15 minutes and no cake.... we ended up leaving.I chose this place to celebrate a special event but was left disgusted and annoyed with the lack of care given to customers.

The place is absolutely chaotic! The staff are underage and under skilled, the food can best be described as overpriced cafe style food. I had to wait over an hour for dried, tasteless chicken and all the while chefs were having a go at each other in the kitchen. Do not recommend this place at all. Save yourselves the disappointment and eat elsewhere.

If I could write a review for under 1 star I would! Each time we have been to Sauce/Wafflelicious since its renovations, the experience has left us questioning what has happened. Simply terrible customer service! We have had such disappointing experiences on a number of occasions with different group sizes, and different staff so it is not just a coincidence. Lowlights as below: Temperature in restaurant varies from scorching hot to pleasant Zero communication between staff Inflexibility in the menu and normal requests, such as drinks to come out with food Incomplete orders sent to the table, multiple requests for sides/salads Arrogant wait staff who have no concept of customer service – and actually argue with customers! The one saving grace is the food isn’t too bad, once you get it.. Avoid this place, as it is not worth the trouble – we have told our family & friends to do the same.
