HIGHWAY ROBBERY! I paid $17.28 for just 2 quarts of cole slaw. Got home and could tell immediately that there was no way 4 cups of slaw was in each styrofoam cup. I measured it out and sure enough, I only had 3 cups per container. I was shorted by 2 cups. I called and was told that was how much servers were told to put in. Cole slaw is mainly cabbage. Come on, for $17.28, at least give the customer a quart and not 3/4 of a purchase price. PS there is a 4 percent charge for cards so I paid with cash. Thank goodness I had cash. HIGHWAY ROBBERY! SHAME ON YOU!
Newly added: Owner just called me and blessed me out for my truthful review. I will never be a customer at this location again.

I am applaud at how rude and disrespectful the owner was to my mother. I was there when she got home with the cole slaw and I was listening when she called in and listening when the owner returned her call. The $17.28 for the cole slaw is over priced and yes, 2 cups were missing from the order of 2 quarts of cole slaw. I am in disbelief at the lack of moral integrity and customer service from this business owner. My family, nor myself will ever support with business ever again. Have a beautiful day!

Old school restaurant, felt more like a private residence than a restaurant. Good barbecue and desert. My only complaint is that there is not much vegetable selection.

The food is pretty good, got the brisket Sandwich and can't complain. Its a nice BBQ place and the food is decent and it's fun to go out and hear the blue grass on Thursdays 7-9.

This used to be my all time go to for BBQ in Athens but after not going during COVID and trying others, they're way over priced and the quality has gone downhill. The staff is just as friendly as ever. *Insert sarcasm $40 for 1lb bbq, half quart slaw and half quart stew. No bread. Had to buy buns separate.
