Dunkin'

I picked a bad day to get doughnuts? The doughnuts are not the freshest. Some need more frosting. Is it coming out the employees pockets for them to be stingy on the frosting? I wouldn't be upset if they were free but I did pay for them. I had to go through the drive thru since dine in is no longer an option. I would have said something sooner had I seen it. On a positive note the person that took my order was nice. I guess today was not the day to get doughnuts.

The pic speaks for itself...6 piece hashbrown alternated between being hard as a rock or a mushy mess and the sandwich had 1 slice of cheese between one egg and the bacon (not the least bit crispy) and was assembled so sloppily. I should have had an all star from Waffle House...more filling and cheaper. My signature latte was awesome though.

Sub-par is the word I'd use to describe this Dunkin' location. If there was a closer franchise location, I certainly would go to a different one. The staff is pretty rude; they never greet you when you pull up to the window or say "thank you" when you leave. I come here 5+ times a week, and if I don't say hello or anything first, I receive my order in full silence. They've gotten my order wrong several times, and they never apologize for the mistake when I have to come back around the drive-thru and ask them to fix it. When they do get it right, the food and coffee is good just like any other Dunkin' location. I'd say hiring some new, friendly & polite staff would go a long way, or underlining the importance of hospitality in the food/bev industry to your current staff.

The employees in this store are supppper nice, this review is not about them. This review is about Dunkin’ Donuts corporate and the way they’ve set up their order ahead website. I ordered 6 donuts from this store on the website that they did not say this particular store was out of, when I ordered. I paid for the order and when I got to the store, they were completely sold out of what I had paid for and the employees let me know that the website is not live updated, when you place an order from the prince store, so when you order, you may be paying for something that they’re completely out of. I don’t ever come to DD and was only ordering for my step dad for Father’s Day, who only likes certain things. When I asked for my money back, they said that I’d have to call corporate to get a refund and could not issue a refund in the store. They also let me know that even if another store in Athens had the donuts I wanted, I’d still have to call corporate and get a refund and that I couldn’t just go pick up the donuts at a different DD in town, even though I’d already paid for them. Just a heads up for anyone using the DD app. DD corporate really needs to live update their site if they’re going to accept money for an item and then not have it in that store or ATLEAST state clearly on the site that you can pay for an item online but be forewarned that there is no guarantee that they’ll have it when you get there. All to say, DD corporate has some work to do and the way they set up this online ordering is trash. Great employees tho!
